International post:
During May 3–8, three employees from Hyresgästföreningen Aros-Gävle (Alexander Forsberg, Israel Benavides and Karin Nilsson, all holding the title Folkrörelseutvecklare) participated in an Erasmus+ training course in Jerez de la Frontera, organised by the Spanish organisation AJ Inter.
The training course brought together 21 youth workers and other professionals from eight countries for six days of non-formal learning, workshops and other activities, providing opportunities to exchange experiences and grow as future leaders of youth exchanges.
Throughout the week, the leaders from AJ Inter guided the participants through the process of organising a youth exchange, and by the end of the week all participants were awarded a diploma as proof of their participation.
“It was a rewarding experience, and I think we have learned a lot about how to organise youth exchanges in our organisation,” says Karin Nilsson.
The opportunities are certainly endless, and Hyresgästföreningen Aros-Gävle would like to thank AJ INTER for the opportunity to be part of this training course.
