On 28 October at 17:45 at the Green Zone, Upper Stage, COP17 for the EU Youth and Sustainability Forum — a space for open dialogue between young people, policymakers, experts, and representatives of Armenian and European institutions was held.
Organised in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Armenia, EUNIC Armenia, and the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) to the EU Delegation to Armenia, the forum explored the importance of biodiversity conservation, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development for younger generations.

Հոկտեմբերի 28-ին՝ ժամը 17։45-ին, միացե՛ք մեզ COP17-ի Կանաչ գոտու վերնահարկի բեմում՝ մասնակցելու «ԵՄ երիտասարդության և կայուն զարգացման ֆորումին»։

Ֆորումը բաց երկխոսության հարթակ է տրամադրում երիտասարդներին, քաղաքականություն մշակողներին, փորձագետներին, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի և եվրոպական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներին։

Միջոցառումը կազմակերպվում է Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության, EUNIC Armenia-ի և Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակությանն առընթեր Երիտասարդական խորհրդատվական խորհրդի (YAC) համագործակցությամբ։

Քննարկման առանցքում կլինեն կենսաբազմազանության պահպանությունը, շրջակա միջավայրի նկատմամբ պատասխանատու վերաբերմունքը և կայուն զարգացման կարևորությունը երիտասարդների համար։

💬Ինտերակտիվ քննարկման ձևաչափով( Fishbowl) բանախոսներն ու մասնակիցները կկիսվեն տեսակետներով ու գաղափարներով և միասին կքննարկեն, թե ինչպես կարող են երիտասարդներն իրենց ներդրումն ունենալ շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանությանն ուղղված գործնական քայլերում։

High-level platforms like Silicon Mountains provide a vital space to ensure that the strategic priorities of young Armenian software developers, students, and tech innovators are actively recognized in national development frameworks.
​Through continuous institutional engagement with tech leaders, policymakers, and international partners, the YAC continues its mission to advocate for meaningful youth integration in strategic sectors. 🏔️💼

We are happy to share and warmly congratulate our , who, within the framework of the “A Day with the Ambassador” initiative, had the unique opportunity to spend a day with the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vassilis Maragos.

Through our “A Day with the EU Ambassador” initiative, Srap Gevorgyan spent a full day alongside EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, participating in meetings and events both inside and outside the EU Delegation.

Srap is a 17-year-old active young person from Gyumri and a member of our Youth Advisory Council. His essay on EU-Armenia relations and the role of young people in shaping this partnership was selected as the best among submissions from active members of our youth network, earning him this opportunity. Soon, you will also have the chance to read it on our website.

This initiative aims to give young people a closer understanding of the work of the EU Delegation, beyond formal descriptions. We hope that this experience helps them better understand how institutions function in practice and where their own interests and skills may contribute.
