Entrepreneurs Without Borders

Entrepreneurs Without Borders We speed up job creation, enable global impact and lower risk for investors.

Our purpose is to promote a model of sustainable entrepreneurship, where all business is socially responsible, equal and strives towards one or more of the UN 17 SDGs.

We believe that entrepreneurship can change the world — but too often, bold ideas never scale because the right support isn’t there. Entrepreneurs Without Borders (EWB) exists to fix that.

Now it’s time to bring this mission to the United States. Setting up a registered nonprofit in the U.S. means we can accept tax-deductible donations directly, build partnerships with U.S. supporters and institutions and unlock new funding streams to scale our global impact.

The cost to launch? Just $1,000.

That covers incorporation, IRS nonprofit status, and compliance basics — after that, we’re fully operational.

Every dollar counts. With your help, we’ll open the U.S. chapter of Entrepreneurs Without Borders and give more founders the chance to scale their ideas and transform communities.

Be part of the foundation. Donate today, and help us cross this milestone.

Why the U.S. — Why Now?

The U.S. is at a crossroads. While political polarization dominates the headlines, it’s also the world’s largest hub for philanthropy, innovation, and social investment. We believe this is exactly the moment to show that entrepreneurship can unite rather than divide — by focusing on solutions, not sides.

Every contribution helps us build a U.S. base that fuels a global movement of entrepreneurs without borders.

Your support shows that even in a divided political climate, we can come together around something bigger: creating jobs, solving problems, and building a better world.

Say hello to our new intern, Conny! 🌿

She’s joining us all the way from Hong Kong, bringing a passion for psychology and a drive to support women entrepreneurs.

We took a moment to ask her a few questions about her journey and what brought her to EWB. We’re so excited to have her with us, and to start showing more of what life as an intern at EWB is really like. Stay tuned 💡

Hi Conny! Tell us a bit about yourself.

I’m Conny, and I’m originally from China. I’m studying psychology in Hong Kong and I chose this field because I’ve always been passionate about understanding human behaviour and helping others. In my free time, I enjoy reading psychology-related books since they deepen my insights and often provide practical solutions to real-life issues.

Why were you interested in interning at EWB?

I’ve been eager to join an NGO that aligns with my values, and EWB stood out to me because of its mission to support women entrepreneurs. I was truly impressed by the organisation’s vision and its commitment to empowering women in business. Being part of a team that creates such meaningful impact is incredibly motivating, and I’d love to contribute my skills to further this cause!

How are you finding Stockholm/Sweden? Anything surprising?

So far, I’m really enjoying Stockholm! The work culture here is fantastic, people strike a great balance between productivity and personal well-being. One thing that surprised me is how active everyone is. I’ve noticed many people biking to work, and on weekends, the city is full of runners. It’s inspiring to see how integrated fitness is into daily life here.

What are your expectations of the internship?

Through this internship, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of how EWB supports entrepreneurs, especially the strategies and frameworks used to help women launch and grow their businesses. I’d also love to develop practical skills in project management, collaboration, and problem-solving within a nonprofit context. As my major is psychology, I really want this can help us increase subjective well-being. Most importantly, I want to learn how I can meaningfully contribute to the team and its mission.

Yes, we’re not kidding (and we also did a double take).

But instead of losing hope, we roll up our sleeves. EWB supports female founders with access to a growing network of impact-driven investors who want to back strong ideas with proven potential.

These connections help bridge the gap between vision and funding, and push the numbers in the right direction. Change starts with action. We’re proud to play our part ✊

We’re always excited to welcome new impact-driven investors who believe in what we do. If that’s you, get in touch!

We’re thrilled to introduce Nakako Takei, who recently joined EWB as our new Social Media Manager! 🌿

Originally from Japan and now based in Stockholm, Nakako brings a wealth of creativity and insight from her time at Hyper Island, Spotify and beyond.

We had a chat about her vision for EWB:

Hi Nakako! Tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to join EWB.

As a recent graduate of content development, I wanted to combine the power of communication with a purpose. I love the idea of women-driven change and women supporting women to equalise the game and accelerate change. It makes total sense to me.

Couldn’t agree more. What makes EWB unique compared to other organizations?

We’re building an ecosystem for female entrepreneurs, so their innovations and business ideas can thrive. The ecosystem is an integration of a venture studio model and franchise-like systems that can scale businesses fast globally, with support.

What’s your personal approach to communication?

I believe in a human-centred approach, empathising with the needs, emotions and experiences of a specific target audience, in our case female entrepreneurs and founders, to create meaningful connections, understanding and to build a supportive community. In other words, to put people and their stories at the center of storytelling.

Finally, describe EWB’s community in three words.

Innovative, collaborative and impact-driven!
