Mas maaga, mas mabuti. Mga Pilipinong nurse humingi ng suporta sa mga usapin sa trabaho at kontrata. Halos lahat ng pakikipag-usap sa mga employer ay naging matagumpay, habang patuloy na isinusulong ng organisasyon ang karapatan, seguridad at kapakanan ng mga Pilipinong nurse at kanilang mga pamilya.

Filipino nurses have turned to FiNAN for help with employment disputes, with almost all talks with employers ending successfully. The organization continues to support nurses in understanding their rights, reporting concerns and protecting the families and lives they have built.

HOW TO GET A NURSING LICENCE IN ICELAND

Are you a nurse planning to work in Iceland? 🇮🇸 To practise as a registered nurse, you need a professional nursing licence (starfsleyfi) issued by the Directorate of Health (Embætti landlæknis).

🌍 Requirements vary depending on whether your nursing education was completed within or outside the EEA/Switzerland.

📋 DOCUMENT CHECKLIST – Nurses educated outside the EEA/Switzerland
☐ Copy of your nursing diploma
Must include your name and date of birth.
☐ Copy of your licence to practise
Issued by the competent authority in your home country.
☐ Letter of Good Standing
Issued by a competent authority confirming that your licence has not been suspended or revoked and remains valid and unrestricted. The letter must be no more than three months old when received by the Directorate of Health.
☐ Transcript of Records
☐ Course Descriptions / Syllabus
Include detailed information about your nursing education and related learning experience, including the number of theoretical and clinical hours completed.
☐ Confirmed Employment Certificate(not mandatory, but can be helpful)
Should include your job description, main responsibilities/tasks and duration of employment.
☐ Certified copy of Certification on Authentication and Verification from the relevant Commission on Higher Education.
☐ Certified copy of Board Examination
☐ Copy of Passport
☐ Work and Residence Permit in Iceland OR Employment Contract within the Icelandic Health Service
A licence to practise is not issued unless the applicable work and residence requirements have been fulfilled.
