And just like that, Business Month 2026 came to a close!

Held on October 29, 2026, at NCB Function Hall 1, the Business Month Culminating Activity brought together our student entrepreneurs for a day of showcasing their businesses, sharing their products, and celebrating the work they have put into their entrepreneurial journey.

From the morning’s Thanksgiving Holy Mass to the different activities and product showcases throughout the day, the event was filled with learning, creativity, teamwork, and of course, the entrepreneurial spirit of our students.

It was a day to celebrate not only their businesses, but also the experiences, challenges, and lessons that came along the way.

A big congratulations to all our student entrepreneurs, exhibitors, organizers, faculty, and everyone who helped make Business Month 2026 a memorable celebration!

Before the activities of the Business Month 2026 Culminating Activity began, we gathered together for a Thanksgiving Holy Mass at the School of Accountancy, Management & Entrepreneurship Building.

It was a simple yet meaningful way to start the day, taking a moment to pray, give thanks, and ask for guidance before the celebration.

From innovative food and non-food products to creative and purposeful ventures, each exhibitor represents the hard work, determination, and entrepreneurial journey of our future business leaders. Every brand has a story, every product has a purpose, and every entrepreneur has a vision.

What started as a business plan back in their 3rd year has grown beyond the classroom into real products, real customers, and real entrepreneurial experiences. Tomorrow, these businesses take center stage as the highlight of Business Month!

On October 23, 2026 (Friday), the Young Entrepreneurs Society officers, together with the 2nd Year Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship students, conducted an October Clean-Up Drive at the New COBE Building.

As future entrepreneurs, we believe that being responsible goes beyond the business world. It also means taking part in activities that help improve our school and community. Through this clean-up drive, we were able to work together, share responsibilities, and contribute in our own simple way to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.

It may seem like a simple activity, but every small effort makes a difference when we come together with a common goal

On October 14, 2026, the Young Farmers Challenge – Regional Level brought together promising young innovators and entrepreneurs from across Eastern Visayas.

We are proud to celebrate DailyGreen, one of the Eastern Visayas Regional Awardees of the 2026 Young Farmers Challenge Program under the Processing – Food category!

Composed of fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship students from Eastern Visayas State University – Main Campus, DailyGreen continues to demonstrate how passion, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit can transform ideas into meaningful opportunities for the agricultural sector.

Their achievement is a testament that young entrepreneurs can create solutions, empower communities, and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Today, we commemorate the 82nd Anniversary of the Leyte Gulf Landings, a defining moment in Philippine history that marked General Douglas MacArthur’s return to our shores and the beginning of the liberation of the Philippines.

May we continue to remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought for freedom, and honor the legacy they left for generations to come.

The 4𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 of the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 proudly brought their business ideas to life through their 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 held last Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

This event marks an important milestone in their Business Plan Implementation, transforming the concepts and strategies they developed during their Business Plan Preparation in their 3rd Year into actual products and real business ventures.

From planning on paper to presenting products to real customers, our future entrepreneurs are taking the next step toward turning ideas into opportunities.

The products showcased during the expo will continue to be marketed and sold until the next semester, giving our students valuable hands-on experience in managing, promoting, and growing their businesses.

From promoting healthier food choices to presenting an innovative business concept on the competition stage, 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 has proven that an idea rooted in purpose can grow into something extraordinary. Representing 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, the team emerged as the 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 of the 𝑰𝑵𝑵𝑶𝑽𝟖 𝑳𝒆𝒚𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕-𝑼𝒑 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 held on October 8, 2026, at the Leyte Convention Complex, Annex A, Palo, Leyte. The team took home a ₱𝟑𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 cash prize and earned the opportunity to represent 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟖 at the 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝑪𝑪𝑰 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕-𝑼𝒑 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏!

Held as part of the Leyte Business Month Celebration and DOST HANDA Pilipinas 2.0: Visayas Leg, the startup pitching competition, sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), brought together student innovators from across Eastern Visayas to present promising business concepts, address real-world challenges, and explore opportunities for community and economic development.

DailyGreen showcased VeggieBalls, a product that embodies the team's vision of making healthier food choices more appealing and accessible. Made with locally sourced vegetables and with no preservatives added, VeggieBalls reflects DailyGreen's commitment to offering a product that combines taste, convenience, and mindful food choices.

Led by 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐳, together with team members 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬, 𝐉𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥, and 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐲, the team demonstrated entrepreneurial vision, creativity, and a commitment to developing an innovative product that responds to community needs.

The team was accompanied by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐌. 𝐃𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐲𝐫𝐚 throughout the competition.

After advancing through the screening and qualifying rounds and securing a place among the Top 10 Finalists, DailyGreen rose above the competition to claim the championship. This milestone reflects the team's dedication, collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating how student-led ventures can transform promising ideas into meaningful business opportunities.

Congratulations, DailyGreen! Your achievement brings pride to the EVSU community and to Eastern Visayas. As you prepare to represent Region 8 on the national stage, may you continue to foster innovation, champion healthier choices, and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
