The members of Alpha Phi Omega – Rho Alpha Chapter recently gathered at Price Mansion in Tacloban City for the EVAR Collegiate Summit 2026.

This regional convention brought chapters from all over Eastern Visayas together to strengthen our organizational foundations, solidify our brotherhood and sisterhood, and equip everyone with the tools needed for effective student leadership. A major highlight for our chapter was the incredible honor of meeting the National President of APO Philippines, Brother Atty. Fritz Sapon, whose encouraging words gave us a renewed drive to carry out our mission.

The weekend was packed with essential training, starting with vital discussions on legal and digital responsibilities like the Anti-Hazing Law and the Internet Code of Conduct, alongside academic development and forward-thinking workshops on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

It wasn't just about lectures, though the summit perfectly balanced hard work with unity through energetic team-building exercises, welcoming the Rho Lambda Chapter during their installation, and sharing a powerful fellowship that concluded with our traditional Toast Song. We are heading back to our campus motivated, united, and fully prepared to step up as true servant leaders for our community. 💙💛

8 WARRIORS FOR APO REGION 8!☝️

Against all odds, APO Region 8 came to Cebu with heart, grit, and brotherhood — and left as CHAMPIONS. 🏆🔥

With only an 8-man rotation and suffering an injury along the way, the team never backed down. Instead, they dominated the entire tournament and completed a clean sweep against every team they faced during the APO Sportsfest 2026 held on May 23–24 in Cebu City. 💪🏀

Representing APO Region 8 were:

• Andrew Bugal – Delta Phi
• Arjay Abendanio – Delta Phi
• Earl Agner – Delta Phi
• Gilray Ceasar Gilboy – Rho Alpha
• Bryan Macaso – Mu Gamma
• Kim Agang – Mu Gamma
• Jun Claro Cebu Jr. – Theta Alpha
• Franz Mero – Xi Rho

This championship was built on sacrifice, resilience, teamwork, and the unwavering will to win. One team. One mission. One championship.
