KSU-LHS Intramurals 2026 | August 4–5 🦖

Day 1 marked the beginning of our Intramurals with the singing of the hymns, followed by the introduction of our Guest of Honor and coaches, then the performances prepared by each grade level and the presentation of the Muse and Es**rt. Afterwards, the athletes' torch was officially lit, followed by the opening of the sports events and booths in the afternoon. The following day, the celebration continued with an early morning fun run. After the Zumba session, the games resumed, where every student gave their best. Meanwhile, as the athletes poured their hearts into every game, we, the SDRRMC, together with our adviser and the fire department, remained behind the scenes, quietly observing and always ready to provide first aid and immediate assistance to those who were injured or in need. 몸조심해요

KSU-LHS Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 🥗🍎

Theme: "Healthy Diet, Gawing Affordable for All! Promoting Inclusive Nutrition, Shared Responsibility, and Healthy Living."

The KSU-LHS Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 was more than just a school event. It was a meaningful celebration that encouraged students to value proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and the importance of taking care of our well-being. Through the different activities, everyone had the chance to learn, participate, and enjoy while promoting a healthier lifestyle.

The celebration featured exciting activities such as the Zumba Dance, Nutrition Quiz Bee, Slogan-Making Contest, Poster-Making Contest, and the Healthy Family Meal Cooking Challenge, where students showcased their knowledge, creativity, and teamwork.

Winners to be announce on Monday.

We, the School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (SDRRMC) Officers 🦺, together with the Student Body Organization (SBO) Officers, participated in the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Seminar on Disaster Preparedness held at Tabuk City People's Gymnasium. 🚨

Students had the opportunity to learn from Sir Baldo M. Garnace Jr. of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), who delivered an important lecture "Disaster Leadership: How to Prepare, Stay Calm, and Lead Effectively During Emergencies." His discussion highlights the importance of preparedness, effective leadership, and remaining calm during emergencies.

We were also informed that 911 will be available to contact on August 6, allowing emergency calls to be made even without mobile data load. Also, everyone was reminded to use the service responsibly, and only during actual emergencies, as prank calls may result penalty.

The seminar activity expand our knowledge about disaster, emergency response, and dangers. It advice us–the members of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (SDRRMC), and Student Body Organization (SBO) Officers, to promote preparedness, alertness, and help build a more resilient school environment.

New Journey Begins Here! 🎉📚

We, the KSU-LHS SDRRM Club, took part in the Orientation and Induction Program conducted on July 16, 2026, in the KSU Gymnasium, Bulanao, Tabuk City.

How significant it is to welcome the new academic year in this way as the newly inducted members now start their journey of becoming leaders, being of service, and being always prepared! 💙❤️

This program gave an introduction to the students regarding the vision, mission, policies, faculty members, student services, and various organizations in the KSU-LHS as well as the formal induction of student organizations, making every member feel their responsibility and participate in the development of the school community.

As the members of the SDRRM Club, we are still dedicated to advocating for disaster preparedness, resilience, safety awareness, and teamwork not only within but also outside the campus. Let us all create a community of readiness, responsibility, and resilience in every situation we encounter.

Congrats to all newly inducted officers and members! Let this academic year be full of good service, great leadership, and lots of possibilities to become an important person!
