✨"PASSION + PATH: Manifesting Your Next Chapter"✨
February 27, 2026 was truly a memorable day for the Grade 10 students of St. William's Academy, Bulanao Inc.! They came together for a Career Guidance Program designed to help them bridge their personal interests with meaningful career choices; a step that will shape their journey toward the future.
The day kicked off with a vibrant parade around the campus, where students marched with pride as they made their way to the SLCB Gymnasium for the main program. The proceedings opened with a heartfelt prayer led by Ms. Reiza C. Enciso of the PFC.
Following this, Rev. Fr. Roman A. Macaiba Jr. delivered warm welcome remarks, where he shared words of inspiration and expressed his appreciation to the effort of students who dresses in different professions.
The first resource speaker was Ms. Lovelia R. Iringan, PhD. whose career coaching session was both amazing and deeply insightful. She guided students through the process of exploring different career paths, helping them understand how their strengths and passions can lead to fulfilling professions.
The second Resource speaker was Mr. Emmanuel C. Ubuan from the Department of Education who discussed the Strengthening of the Senior High School Curriculum. His talk was crucial in preparing students for the next phase of their academic journey, highlighting the opportunities and focus areas they can expect in Senior High School.
Mrs. Mai Lani Villamor Labor from the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) then took the stage to talk about available job opportunities and Labor Market Information (LMI). She helped students gain a clearer picture of what the workforce looks like today and what skills will be valuable in the years to come. To cap off the talks, Mr. Enrique Baliang represented City Mayor Hon. Darwin Estrañero, an esteemed alumnus of St. William's Academy, Batch '86. The Mayor’s message resonated deeply with students, as he reminded them that they too can achieve great things starting from their roots at the academy.
Throughout the program, students were filled with encouragement and wisdom from all the speakers. It was inspiring to see them engage thoughtfully, knowing that these insights would help them focus on their studies and work toward their dream professions and one day donning the "dress of profession" they’ve chosen for themselves.
Ms. Khea Tolentino, a Grade 10 adviser, delivered the closing remarks, where she commended the students for their participation and wished them all the very best as they take their next steps. The program concluded with a closing prayer led by Ms. Desiree Mae M. Latawan of the PFC.
Williamites! May the stars align with your dreams, and may you walk confidently toward the future you’re building today!
