The Supreme Student Council (STCI-SSC) proudly announces the election of three (3) Tonisian student leaders to key positions in the Youth United for Peace Organization (YUP-O) during the 2nd City-Wide Youth Leadership Summit, held on August 2, 2026, at Tree Tops, Bantay, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

The election, conducted as part of the culminating activities of the three-day leadership summit, gathered youth leaders and student representatives from various educational institutions and youth organizations across Tabuk City to select the new set of officers who will lead the organization in advancing youth leadership, peacebuilding, volunteerism, and community engagement.

The following STCI student leaders were elected to the respective positions:

Their election reflects the confidence and trust of fellow youth leaders in their competence, dedication, and commitment to servant leadership. As newly elected officers, they are entrusted with the responsibility of leading initiatives that foster collaboration, youth empowerment, and meaningful participation in community development.

The Supreme Student Council extends its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected officers. Their achievement is a testament to the quality of leadership cultivated within Saint Tonis College, Inc. and serves as an inspiration to the entire Tonisian community to continue pursuing excellence, integrity, and service beyond the campus.

May they continue to lead with humility, serve with purpose, and uphold the values of the College as they fulfill their responsibilities in the Youth United for Peace Organization.

STCI Student Leaders Complete the 2nd City-Wide Youth Leadership Summit 2026

Supreme Student Council (STCI-SSC), together with its official departmental representatives and SHS SBO Officers, successfully concluded its participation in the 2nd City-Wide Youth Leadership Summit 2026, held from July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Tree Tops, Bantay, Tabuk City.

The three-day summit gathered student leaders from various academic institutions and youth organizations across Tabuk City, including Saint William's Academy Bulanao, Inc., Kalinga State University (Bulanao, Dagupan, and Rizal Campuses), Kalinga Colleges of Science and Technology, Saint Therisita's School of Tabuk, Tabuk Institute, Tabuk City National High School, Saint Tonis College, Inc., ISAP-Kalinga, Kalinga National High School, Agbannawag National High School, Cudal National High School, Bulo National High School, Bado Dangwa National High School, Tuga National High School, Balawag National High School, New Tanglag National High School, and other youth organizations throughout the city.

Throughout the summit, participants engaged in leadership sessions, collaborative discussions, and interactive activities designed to strengthen their leadership competencies, foster meaningful connections, and encourage active participation in community development. The event served as a valuable platform for empowering young leaders to become catalysts for positive change within their respective institutions and communities.

The Supreme Student Council extends its sincere appreciation to Tabuk City Mayor Engr. Darwin C. Estranero for his steadfast support of youth development initiatives. The Council also expresses its gratitude to the City Special Concerns and Coordinating Office (CSCCO) – Youth Development Section, together with its partner organizations the 103rd Infantry "Mabalagsik" Battalion and the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) for organizing a meaningful and impactful leadership experience for the youth of Tabuk City.

As the summit concludes, the SSC delegation returns with renewed inspiration, strengthened leadership, and a deeper commitment to uphold the values of service, integrity, and excellence. The knowledge and experiences gained from this initiative will continue to guide the Council in creating programs and initiatives that will benefit the Tonisian community.

The Supreme Student Council successfully conducted its 4th Regular Session for the Second Semester, where significant matters concerning student leadership, campus initiatives, and organizational development were discussed.

Among the key agenda were the preparations for 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and the scheduling of a coordination meeting with the 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬.

The Council also held an open forum on the proposed transition of the Committee on Student Elections (CSE) into the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), as well as clarifications regarding the conduct of the upcoming student elections in accordance with the SSC Constitution and By-Laws and the official school calendar.

𝐒𝐓𝐂𝐈–𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐎–𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚

The STCI – Supreme Student Council (SSC) has officially been recognized and registered as a School-Based Organization under the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) – Kalinga, marking another milestone for the institution’s student leadership.

The registration reflects the council’s commitment to strengthening youth participation, leadership, and service within the school community. Through this recognition, the organization is expected to further uphold programs and initiatives that promote student welfare and active involvement among students.

The application process was facilitated and personally submitted to LYDO–Kalinga by SSC President John L. Palangeo, SSC Vice President Kathreena Zen T. Tiggangay, together with SSC Adviser Rodelyn Kyla Angnas. Their efforts and dedication contributed to the successful registration of the organization.

Meanwhile, the council’s application for registration under the National Youth Commission (NYC) remains pending and is currently undergoing further processing.

The council likewise extends its sincere gratitude to all SSC officers for their collective support, cooperation, and commitment throughout the application process and in continuously serving the student body.

With this achievement, the STCI–SSC continues to move forward in empowering student leaders and fostering a more active and united academic community.
