The League of Tourism Students in the Philippines-KSU Chapter, successfully conducted its community outreach with the theme "๐.
This comprehensive initiative, headed by the LTSP officers with the guidance of the LTSP Adviser ma'am Krizel A. Balawas, highlights the commitment of student leaders to social responsibility and community empowerment. The program catered to 30 participants, including daycare and kinder students, as well as malnourished children from the locality. The dayโs activities were thoughtfully designed to balance physical wellness with cognitive growth, starting with a series of educational tutorials followed by nutritious feeding session. These sessions included lectures on "Go, Grow, and Glow" nutrition, Good Manners applications, and spiritual enrichment through Story and Bible verse segments.
A special thanks to the Supreme Student Council (SSC) - Bulanao Campus for the learning books they lent for this program. These resources were vital in facilitating our tutorial program and ensuring that the children had access to quality instructional materials throughout the day.
The program concluded with a Zumba dance and a commemorative photo session, marking the successful culmination of a project dedicated to health, education, and community solidarity. Through this partnership, the LTSP-KSU Chapter continues to demonstrate that tourism students are not only future industry professionals but also active catalysts for positive social change.
