STCI Senior High School Faculty Spearheads Annual Brigada Eskwela Campaign

The Senior High School Department of Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI), under the guidance of Principal Dr. Karen Joan M. Galino, officially kicked off its annual Brigada Eskwela campaign.

Demonstrating volunteerism (bayanihan), SHS faculty joined forces to prepare the campus for the new academic year. The maintenance drive focused on creating a safe, welcoming, and productive learning environment. Key activities led by the teachers included deep-cleaning and repairing classrooms, performing safety and sanitation checks, and refreshing bulletin boards to align with the new three-term system.

Through this hands-on preparation, the STCI SHS Department ensures that the school is physically, visually, and operationally ready to welcome Tonisian learners back to campus.

Setting the Path Forward: Departmental Orientation and Re-orientation 2026

The Senior High School Department of Saint Tonis College, Inc. conducted a comprehensive faculty orientation and re-orientation session on June 1, 2026 led by the SHS Principal Dr. Karen Joan M. Galino, focused on the following topics: The Strengthen Senior High School Curriculum, The Three Term School Calendar, and The Adopted Delivery Modality.

The session served to onboard new teachers and update returning faculty on the policy guidelines for transitioning to the new three-term school calendar for basic education. The briefing detailed vital adjustments for the three-term system, including term-based lesson planning, modified grading blocks, differentiated assessments, and targeted remediation programs.

Following the plenary sessions, the faculty engaged in a collaborative workshop to develop their Curriculum Instructional Delivery Alignment Map. Working by academic strands, teachers synchronized core competencies and assessments with the new term timelines to ensure efficient, quality instructional delivery for the upcoming school year.

The Senior High School Department of Saint Tonis College, Inc. successfully conducted a “Refresher Training and Updates” on May 28, 2026, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and teaching competencies of its educators in adapting to the demands of 21st century learning. The training served as an avenue for teachers to strengthen their skills in utilizing modern educational tools and innovative teaching strategies that support effective and meaningful instruction.

The activity was participated in by the Senior High School faculty members and was highlighted by the valuable discussions shared by the resource speaker, Mr. Rex B. Bongabong of Rex Digital Publishing Corporation. Through his expertise and engaging presentation, the participants gained updated insights on digital learning resources, technology integration, and current trends in education that can further improve classroom instruction and student engagement.

The success of the training was made possible through the unwavering support and initiative of the School President, Dr. Kathleen Rose L. Guimbatan, whose commitment to academic excellence and professional growth continues to inspire the institution’s educators. The activity was also strongly supported by the Senior High School Principal, Dr. Karen Joan M. Galino, whose dedication and leadership greatly contributed to the smooth conduct and success of the program. Their combined efforts reflect the institution’s commitment to empowering teachers and promoting quality education.

Indeed, the refresher training became a meaningful learning experience that empowered the teachers of Saint Tonis College, Inc. to continue advancing quality education and responsive teaching practices for the benefit of the students and the school community.

𝗦𝗧𝗖𝗜 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 Youth Leadership Training

The STCI Senior High School Students participated in Youth Leadership Training organized by the City Local Government Unit (LGU), held at M Hotel Tabuk. The activity was attended by the students of Saint Tonis College, Inc., together with participants from other schools in Tabuk City.

The seminar aimed to develop the leadership skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility of the students through inspiring discussions and engaging activities. The Lectures tackles about Values-Based Leadership, SDG Leadership, Communication Skills for Leaders and Disaster Preparedness and Youth Leadership. It provided an opportunity for the participants to learn the importance of teamwork, communication, discipline, and service as future leaders of the community.
