On 20 May 2026, the Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON), led by National President Maricar S. Last May 14, 2026, the Philippine Association of Legitimate Service Contractors (PALSCON), led by National President Ms. Maricar Suarez, together with Board Member Mr. Adrian Flores and PALSCON Industry and Member Relations Manager Ms. Paula Narciso, paid a courtesy visit to the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) at the TESDA Main Office in Taguig City.

The PALSCON delegation was warmly received by TESDA Deputy Director General for Finance and Legal Affairs Atty. Allan Chester B. Nadate, marking a meaningful step toward deeper collaboration between industry and government in addressing the evolving needs of the Philippine workforce.

Discussions focused on advancing upskilling, reskilling, and microcredentialing initiatives, as well as strengthening industry-responsive training programs that directly address real hiring needs and skills gaps in the labor market. Both parties also explored ways to support near-hires and improve employability through targeted, demand-driven interventions.

This engagement reflects a shared commitment to empowering Filipino jobseekers with the right skills, competencies, and opportunities to thrive in a rapidly changing world of work.

Together, PALSCON and TESDA move closer to a common goal — building a workforce that is skilled, competitive, and ready for the future.
