Pursuant to 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝟔, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, August 21 is observed as 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲, a 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 throughout the country. But beyond the date on the calendar, it is a day that calls us to pause and remember a chapter in our nation’s history shaped by one man’s decision to stand for what he believed in.

Being prepared for a DOLE inspection is more than knowing what documents to present—it’s about building compliance into everyday operations.

Our PALSCON Training Academy: “INSPECTION READY: Prepare. Comply. Be Confident.” brought together PALSCON members for a practical learning session on DOLE audit and compliance for service contractors.

The session was well attended, with our members actively joining the discussion and gaining practical insights on inspection preparations, common compliance findings, documentation, and what to expect during an actual DOLE inspection.

This initiative came to life through the dedication and efforts of Mr. Lorenzo Consulta, Chairperson of the Training & Development Committee, whose commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities for PALSCON members continues to make a difference.

PALSCON paid a courtesy visit to the PESO Taguig Office on August 13, 2026, led by PALSCON Corporate Secretary and Job Fair Committee Chairperson Ms. Abegayle P. Deloraya, together with Executive Director Ms. Soraya C. Barsaga and Member and Industry Relations Manager Ms. Paula Narciso.

The visit marked a meaningful step toward strengthening the partnership between PALSCON and PESO Taguig, while exploring possible collaborations for upcoming job fairs and employment initiatives.

Through this partnership, PALSCON and PESO Taguig look forward to creating more opportunities and connecting Taguig constituents and jobseekers with legitimate employment opportunities through stronger coordination and collaboration.
