On Wednesday, 15 April 2026, LGU and DepEd Volunteers of GMEN met with the School Head of Kapitolyo High School, Ms. Maricris O. Murillo. During the meeting, GMEN introduced its offered trainings and seminars and discussed to conduct events for the benefit of the students, faculty, and staff of Kapitolyo High School.

โ€œI am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me.โ€

This verse reminds us that faith is not just about knowing who God is. It is about how we respond to Him. He is our Deliverer, our Provider, and our Almighty Father. Because of what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will continue to do, our response is to love and serve Him and only Him.

In a world full of distractions and competing priorities, may we choose to place God above all elseโ€”honoring Him not just in our words and praise, but in how we live to serve Him each day. ๐Ÿ™

On 11 April 2026, Bro. Edwinner "Bhaste" Zapanta, Programs and Special Events Co-Coordinator, gave a devotional message on 1 Peter 5:1-4. In his message, Bro. Bhaste shared a three-point call-to-action:

โœ… serve where GOD tells us to serve
โœ… serve with the right motivation, not for ego or earning
โœ… live for the Crown, not for the crowd

"Therefore, I urge elders among you, as your fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a fellow partaker of the glory that is to be revealed: shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness; nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory."

On 11 April 2026, volunteers of the Government Movers Enlightening the Nation - Local Government Units Team (GMEN LGU) gathered for its monthly meeting and general assembly.

During this meeting, members discussed ongoing developments in the various engaged LGUs with plans of conducting trainings, bridging events, and partnerships. Further, representatives from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) gave a talk on the YAKAP Program -- a program aimed to provide health services closer to the people.

As we enter the 2nd quarter, we are more fired up and committed to serving the Lord in the LGUs! All for GOD's glory and honor!

In moments when we feel uncertain, weary, or overwhelmed, we are not alone ๐Ÿค GOD, in His love, has given us the Holy Spirit: our Helper, our Comforter, and our Guide ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ He walks with us daily, gently leading us, strengthening us, and reminding us of truth even when we struggle to see it ๐ŸŒฟ

This past week, we were reminded that the story of Jesus is a living truth that continues to shape our lives today. No matter how far or disconnected we may feel from GODโ€™s grace, the resurrection of Jesus is proof that His grace still reaches us, offering a new beginning, victory over sin, and the promise of a transformed life.

Sin has lost its stronghold on us, because Christ lives in us. He has conquered death, opened the way to eternal life, and called us to walk in freedomโ€ฆ no longer bound by fear or shame, but strengthened by grace and anchored in His unfailing love.

We are reminded to carry and share the Gospel ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ, because it is by ๐—›๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ that transformed (and continues to transform) our lives.
