The Rosario Pasig PWD and Parent Support Group Association Inc., together with CWD under Parent – Rosario, successfully held its 48th National Disability Rights Week 2026 – Talent Showcase on July 25, 2026, at the Hunters-ROTC Guerillas Center Multipurpose Covered Court.
With this year’s theme:
“Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development,”
the event gave our Persons with Disabilities and Children with Disabilities the opportunity to proudly showcase their talents in singing, dancing, drawing, skateboarding, and poem/prayer recitation.
More than a talent showcase, the program served as a reminder that every PWD has rights, dignity, abilities, dreams, and a valuable place in our community. Their courage and confidence truly inspired everyone present. ✨
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, partners, officials, and supporters who helped make this event possible:
Congressman Roman Romulo
Councilor Marion “Maro” Martires
Hon. Aquilino “Ely” Dela Cruz and the Barangay Rosario Council:
Hon. Karen Cruz
Hon. Angie Roldan
Hon. Baltazar Iglesias Jr.
Hon. Benjamin Antonio
Hon. Ryan Zeta
SK Chairman Tyrone Jethro Monakil and the SK Council
Pasig City Persons with Disability Affairs Office
Triaxial Consulting Pty Ltd
and all our generous donors, community partners, and individuals who extended financial assistance, meals, water, rice, materials, services, and other forms of support.
Special thanks to Ms. Helen Carmona Eldredge, Head of the Pasig City Persons with Disability Affairs Office, for sharing valuable information about the rights, programs, benefits, and services available to Persons with Disabilities.
We also thank our host, Ms. Maila Giron, our officers, parents, guardians, families, performers, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
Most especially, congratulations and thank you to all our talented participants. Your performances reminded us that disability is never a limitation to talent, creativity, courage, and purpose. 🌟
May we continue to build a community where every Person with Disability is seen, heard, respected, supported, and given equal opportunities, not only during National Disability Rights Week, but every day.
Together, we celebrate abilities, uphold rights, and move forward toward a more inclusive community.
To God be all the glory. 🙏💛
