Good day, Ms. Suzana! I’m Josh, It is a pleasure being able to reach out to you. We truly appreciate the work you have started through Miss Possibilities Foundation and the community you have spearheaded, especially in creating greater awareness, opportunities, and support for children with special needs and their families.
I’m currently a 4th-year BS Psychology student from PLM, and together with my research partner, we are conducting our thesis on the experiences of parents raising children with Special Educational Needs (SPED).
Our goal is to expand the knowledge and understanding of the experiences of parents raising children with special needs—to shed light on their challenges, resilience, and the strength they show in caring for their children, which can often go unseen. We hope that through our research, we can contribute to greater empathy, awareness, and support for these parents and families.
With this, we would like to kindly ask for your help in disseminating our survey to parents within Miss Possibilities Foundation who may qualify. The survey will only take around 10–15 minutes of their time, and their participation would be incredibly valuable to our study.
As a small token of appreciation, two participants will be randomly selected to receive ₱500 via GCash. More importantly, their stories and experiences can help us better understand the realities of families raising children with special needs and hopefully encourage more people to recognize and support them.
