PCMCC Stands in Solidarity for the Welfare of Filipino Workers

The Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) joined fellow advocates at the Pasig Regional Trial Court following the issuance of a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) on the implementation of the ₱85 NCR minimum wage increase on July 30, 2026.

Joining the activity were Senator Robin Padilla and Eli San Fernando - Kamanggagawa Partylist , together with various labor groups and supporters who expressed their solidarity with Filipino workers.

PCMCC firmly supports the implementation of the minimum wage increase, recognizing the growing challenges brought about by inflation and the rising cost of living. We believe that every hardworking Filipino deserves a fair and just wage that reflects the realities faced by families every day.

As an organization committed to the welfare and upliftment of the Muslim community and all Filipinos, PCMCC stands in solidarity with initiatives that promote social justice, dignity, and economic well-being.

PCMCC Pays Courtesy Visit to Pasig City Official

Yesterday, The two leaders of of the Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) Datu Dimal "James" Dimapinggun and Bae Molinto " ellen" A. Hadji Ali, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Assistant IV and Officer-in-Charge of Community Relations and Information Office (CRIO) Director Maria Lourdes "Malou" Gonzales.

The meeting focused on strengthening coordination between PCMCC and the Pasig City Government, particularly on the profiling and updating of records of the Muslim community in Pasig City.

This initiative aims to ensure that accurate and updated information will help the City Government and PCMCC better plan and deliver programs, services, and assistance that respond to the needs of the Muslim community

PCMCC extends its sincere gratitude to the Executive Assistant of Mayor Vico Sotto for the warm welcome and productive discussion. We look forward to continued cooperation in advancing inclusive, responsive, and community-centered public service.

PCMCC Officers Attend the 80th Anniversary of Egypt–Philippines Diplomatic Relations and Egypt National Day Celebration

The Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) proudly participated in the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Egypt–Philippines Diplomatic Relations and the Egypt National Day held yesterday.

Representing the Council were Ms. Normala Mustapha, Ms. Johaira Sarip, and Ms. Almayrah Caye, whose presence highlighted PCMCC's continued commitment to fostering friendship, cultural understanding, and stronger ties with the international community.

PCMCC extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Arab Republic of Egypt on this remarkable milestone and expresses its sincere appreciation for the enduring friendship and cooperation between Egypt and the Philippines.

PCMCC Participates in UP-CIDS-ISP Round Table Discussion

On July 21, 2026, the Executive Officers and members of the Central Muslim Consultative Council (CMCC) participated in a Round Table Discussion (RTD) held at the Institute of Small-Scale Industries (ISSI) Building, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City.

The activity was organized by the University of the Philippines Center for Integrative and Development Studies – Islamic Studies Program (UP-CIDS-ISP) in partnership with the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).

Representing the Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) were CMCC Vice President for External Affairs Bae Molinto "Ellen" A. Hadji Ali and Ms. Johairah Sarip, who actively participated in the discussions together with Muslim community leaders from various sectors.

The Round Table Discussion is part of the research project of the UP-CIDS-ISP, which aims to convene leaders from different Muslim communities to discuss key issues affecting Muslim Filipinos, strengthen institutional coordination, exchange best practices, and explore collaborative strategies that will help advance inclusive development and community empowerment.

PCMCC is honored to be part of this important initiative and remains committed to fostering partnerships, meaningful dialogue, and collaborative efforts that will contribute to the continued growth and welfare of the Muslim community.

PCMCC PARTICIPATES IN PASIG CITY TOURISM CODE STAKEHOLDER SURVEY

The Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) actively participated in the Pasig City Tourism Code Stakeholder Survey together with Mayor Vico Sotto, the Pasig City Tourism Office, and other key stakeholders.

The meeting provided an opportunity for various sectors to share their insights, recommendations, and perspectives in crafting a Tourism Code that promotes sustainable, inclusive, and culturally diverse tourism in Pasig City.

PCMCC remains committed to representing the interests of the Muslim community by supporting policies and initiatives that recognize cultural diversity, preserve our heritage, and contribute to the city’s growth and development.

In celebration of Women’s Month, the Pasig City Gender and Development (GAD) Office invited the officers and Women’s Sector chairwoman Ms. Fatima A. Benito of the Pasig City Muslim Consultative Council (PCMCC) to participate in the 2026 Women’s Health Forum with the theme:
“Advancing Women’s Access to Comprehensive Mental and Reproductive Health Services.”

The meaningful event was held today at Chardonnay by Astoria, bringing together advocates, leaders, and stakeholders committed to promoting the health and well-being of women.
