🤝 Transforming Strategic Intentions into Grassroots Actions: Direct Collaboration with ATI-RTC VI! 🌾🇯🇵🚛

Strategic progress happens when grassroots leadership interfaces directly with regional training institutions! A highly productive meeting was conducted at the Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center VI (ATI-RTC VI), located within the ASU Campus in Banga, Aklan.

The consultation brought together critical institutional partners to finalize opportunities for the youth, while simultaneously mapping out concrete technological solutions to address pressing municipal challenges in Numancia.

📋 Key Agendas and Breakthroughs:

1. Pathways to Global Excellence (YFIPJ Application Submission)
We formally submitted the Letters of Intent for our local youth applicants aspiring to enter the prestigious Young Farmers Internship Program in Japan. The FEDERATED RIC NUMANCIA President met with Ms. Sheena Angelique D. Zante-Lima (Media Production Specialist II, Career Development and Management Section - CDMS) to secure and review the application pipeline, ensuring our next-generation agri-leaders get their chance to study advanced international farming systems.

2. Mobilizing the "Service on Wheels" Program
An exciting follow-up was made regarding the deployment of the highly anticipated Service on Wheels program. This mobile extension initiative is designed to bring vital agricultural learning tools and resources directly to the doorsteps of rural communities, breaking down geographic barriers for our local farmers.

3. Setting Up the July Nutrition Month & Eco-Waste Seminar
In a vital planning session with Ms. Florepe M. Mortalla (Information Officer III and Chief of the Information Services Section - ISS), details were solidified for an upcoming one-day technical seminar to be conducted this July.

Held as a cornerstone part of our Nutrition Month Celebration, this targeted training will empower our Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), RIC Officers, and Chapter Presidents. The seminar serves as a direct intervention to address Numancia's current garbage dilemma, arming our community leaders with proper waste segregation management techniques and practical training on how to use household and agricultural waste materials for organic composting.

💡 Leadership in Action
By aligning global training opportunities for the youth with immediate ecological training for our women leaders, the Federated RIC Numancia continues to build a sustainable, self-reliant, and climate-smart municipality.

Turning municipal waste into agricultural wealth is a critical step forward, and we are immensely grateful to ATI-RTC VI for their unwavering technical backing!

🌱 Stronger Roots, Brighter Future: RIC Badio Empowered and Unified! 👩‍🌾🇵🇭

A productive and landmark meeting was successfully held by the RIC Badio Chapter, drawing together an incredible assembly of local leaders, agricultural advocates, and dedicated members driven by a shared vision for community livelihood and development!

The assembly was highly honored by the presence and full support of the Badio Barangay Council led by Punong Barangay Kap B**g Crispino, alongside the Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS), the Kagawad Committee on Agriculture,Hon. Larry Sim.

Having our local governance tightly unified with our rural women ensures that our grassroots initiatives have the solid backing they need to succeed!

The meeting gained momentous inspiration as the Federated RIC Numancia President, Anicel Marie Joy B. Bautista, personally attended to guide and empower the chapter. She shared a comprehensive overview designed to take Badio's agricultural and livelihood goals to the next level:

Department of Agriculture (DA) Programs: Members were briefed on upcoming projects, programs, and specialized training seminars mapped out by the DA that RIC sectors can directly benefit from.

Global & Local Pathways for Youth: She highlighted the life-changing Young Farmers Internship Program, opening doors for the next generation to access elite agricultural training both locally and internationally.

Today, the Federated Rural Improvement Club (RIC) Numancia, RIC Laguinbanua West, Camanci RIC Incorporated, and the vibrant energetic youth of the Camanci Sur Youth Association (CSYA) joined hands for a massive Brigada Eskwela joint force at the Laguinbanua Integrated School! 🤝❤️
With the official opening of classes fast approaching this coming June 8, our inter-generational team rolled up their sleeves to ensure that the students and faculty step into a pristine, safe, and deeply inspiring learning environment.

📚 Nurturing the Future, Hand-in-Hand
From deep-cleaning classrooms to refreshing the campus surroundings, this collaborative effort proved that education is a shared responsibility.
The mothers and women leaders of the RIC chapters brought their nurturing dedication, while the youth of CSYA brought outstanding energy and teamwork to the field.

As part of our commitment to education, literacy, and youth empowerment, the Federated RIC Numancia takes immense pride in continuously upkeeping and maintaining the Baeay it Kaaeam (Learning Hub) of Laguinbanua Integrated School.

Yesterday, our dedicated members rolled up their sleeves to clean, organize, and refresh this vital space, ensuring it remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring sanctuary for our young learners.

We have officially marked the Water Breaking / Installation Ceremony for the highly anticipated Oyster Farm Project, spearheaded by the Camanci Sur Gleaners and Fish Vendors Association (the proud child association of Camanci RIC Incorporated).

This groundbreaking water development phase officially lays down the structural foundation for our community’s sustainable blue economy!

Fueling the Vision: BFAR Region 6 & RICHARD E. CORDERO,OIC BFAR PFO Aklan 🚀📦

This milestone is turning into reality thanks to the vital provisions, grants, and materials provided by BFAR Region 6—their generous resources are truly what will make this project happen on the ground! Working hand-in-hand with them is the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist - Fisheries Extension and Regulation Division (OPA-FERD), ensuring our setup is built for long-term success.

From local backyards to the formal market shelves! The Federated RIC Numancia family, led by our Federated President along with dynamic leaders from various RIC Chapters, spent a highly productive two days at the Metro Sky Hotel in Kalibo, Aklan last May 20-21, 2026.

We participated in the intensive Training on Product Registration and Licensing, an incredible capacity-building initiative spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture Western Visayas.

Making Waves at the 1st Fisheries Summit 2026! 🐟🌊

An absolute powerhouse of learning, public service, and community spirit!

The Camanci Sur Gleaners and Fish Vendors Association and Camanci RIC Incorporated proudly made their presence felt at the historic 1st Fisheries Summit 2026, held at the ABL Sports Complex in the Capitol Grounds, Kalibo, Aklan.

This summit was not just a meeting—it was a massive, holistic celebration and empowerment hub for our local fishing community!
A Convergence of Learning and Environmental Care 🦑📘

Our members gained vital insights through technical lectures from BFAR and key presentations from the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV). The awareness campaigns focused deeply on protecting our endangered species, preserving our seas, and managing our precious natural resources sustainably.

To complement the learning, helpful information materials, flyers, and visual AIDS were distributed by the PCIC and DENR.

All-In-One Public Service and Wellness Caravan 🏥💇‍♂️
Beyond the technical knowledge, our delegation benefited from an incredible lineup of free services brought right to the venue:
