🤝 Transforming Strategic Intentions into Grassroots Actions: Direct Collaboration with ATI-RTC VI! 🌾🇯🇵🚛

Strategic progress happens when grassroots leadership interfaces directly with regional training institutions! A highly productive meeting was conducted at the Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center VI (ATI-RTC VI), located within the ASU Campus in Banga, Aklan.

The consultation brought together critical institutional partners to finalize opportunities for the youth, while simultaneously mapping out concrete technological solutions to address pressing municipal challenges in Numancia.

📋 Key Agendas and Breakthroughs:

1. Pathways to Global Excellence (YFIPJ Application Submission)
We formally submitted the Letters of Intent for our local youth applicants aspiring to enter the prestigious Young Farmers Internship Program in Japan. The FEDERATED RIC NUMANCIA President met with Ms. Sheena Angelique D. Zante-Lima (Media Production Specialist II, Career Development and Management Section - CDMS) to secure and review the application pipeline, ensuring our next-generation agri-leaders get their chance to study advanced international farming systems.

2. Mobilizing the "Service on Wheels" Program
An exciting follow-up was made regarding the deployment of the highly anticipated Service on Wheels program. This mobile extension initiative is designed to bring vital agricultural learning tools and resources directly to the doorsteps of rural communities, breaking down geographic barriers for our local farmers.

3. Setting Up the July Nutrition Month & Eco-Waste Seminar
In a vital planning session with Ms. Florepe M. Mortalla (Information Officer III and Chief of the Information Services Section - ISS), details were solidified for an upcoming one-day technical seminar to be conducted this July.

Held as a cornerstone part of our Nutrition Month Celebration, this targeted training will empower our Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), RIC Officers, and Chapter Presidents. The seminar serves as a direct intervention to address Numancia's current garbage dilemma, arming our community leaders with proper waste segregation management techniques and practical training on how to use household and agricultural waste materials for organic composting.

💡 Leadership in Action
By aligning global training opportunities for the youth with immediate ecological training for our women leaders, the Federated RIC Numancia continues to build a sustainable, self-reliant, and climate-smart municipality.

Turning municipal waste into agricultural wealth is a critical step forward, and we are immensely grateful to ATI-RTC VI for their unwavering technical backing!

The countdown to July is on—let's prepare to turn knowledge into a healthier, cleaner environment!

Leveling Up Our Agri-Enterprises:
Training on Product Registration and Licensing! 📋🌾🚀

From local backyards to the formal market shelves! The Federated RIC Numancia family, led by our Federated President along with dynamic leaders from various RIC Chapters, spent a highly productive two days at the Metro Sky Hotel in Kalibo, Aklan last May 20-21, 2026.

We participated in the intensive Training on Product Registration and Licensing, an incredible capacity-building initiative spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture Western Visayas.

Mastering the Regulatory Pathways 💡🏢
To scale up our livelihood projects and transform our community associations into fully compliant, competitive enterprises, we learned from a powerful lineup of regulatory experts:

Local Governance: Navigating the Mayor's Permit and Barangay Clearance Application Procedures with DILG Aklan.

Marketing Support: Discovering new horizons through the AMAD Program Presentation by AMAD Western Visayas.

Taxation & Legitimacy: Understanding Business Registration and Taxation for Agri-Fishery Enterprises with BIR Region 6.

Branding & FDA Links: Learning about Business Name Registration and Assistance to FDA Licensing with DTI Aklan.

Quality & Safety: Mastering Regulatory Compliance and Food Safety Standards with DOST Aklan.

The Final Seal: Breaking down the Rules and Regulations for LTO Applications with the FDA Western Visayas.

Empowering Rural Women for Global Standards 👩‍🌾✨
Securing these licenses ensures that the products meticulously crafted by our RIC chapters—from our processed fish to our agricultural yields—meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and legality. This breaks open doors to wider markets, supermarkets, and bigger livelihood opportunities for our members!

A heartfelt thank you to the Department of Agriculture Western Visayas and all the partner agencies for giving us the roadmap to professionalize our passion.

Numancia's rural products are getting ready to make bigger waves! 🌊🛍️

An absolute powerhouse of learning, public service, and community spirit!

The Camanci Sur Gleaners and Fish Vendors Association and Camanci RIC Incorporated proudly made their presence felt at the historic 1st Fisheries Summit 2026, held at the ABL Sports Complex in the Capitol Grounds, Kalibo, Aklan.

This summit was not just a meeting—it was a massive, holistic celebration and empowerment hub for our local fishing community!
A Convergence of Learning and Environmental Care 🦑📘

Our members gained vital insights through technical lectures from BFAR and key presentations from the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV). The awareness campaigns focused deeply on protecting our endangered species, preserving our seas, and managing our precious natural resources sustainably.

To complement the learning, helpful information materials, flyers, and visual AIDS were distributed by the PCIC and DENR.

All-In-One Public Service and Wellness Caravan 🏥💇‍♂️
Beyond the technical knowledge, our delegation benefited from an incredible lineup of free services brought right to the venue:

Health & Wellness: A medical mission spearheaded by the DOH.
Pampering & Care:

Free massages and haircuts courtesy of our service partners from the Philippine Army.
Grooming Services: Hair grooming and manicures provided by TESDA in cooperation with the Monfort Technical Institute.

Perks & Support: Delightful food pack distributions and exciting raffle prizes that kept the energy high all day!

Strong Leadership for the Fisherfolk Sector 🏛️✨

We are deeply inspired by the messages of support from our provincial and local leaders who championed our cause, led by Governor Joen Miraflores and Vice Governor Dexter Calizo.

We also extend our gratitude to SP Boy Quimpo (SP Committee Chairman on Agriculture) and LGU Kalibo SB Member Atty. Christine C. Dela Cruz (SB Committee Chairperson on Agriculture) for their presence and dedication to the sector.

Heartfelt Thanks to the Organizers 🙏
Our loudest applause goes to the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, led by Provincial Agriculturist Engr. Alexys Apolonio, for their immense efforts and initiatives in putting together this highly successful and impactful summit.

As an association, we are heading back to Numancia with fuller hearts, sharper skills, and a stronger commitment to guarding our waters and nurturing our livelihoods! 🚀🦪
