In accordance with 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝟒, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Wednesday, 27 May 2026, is declared a Regular Holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

This sacred celebration serves as a reminder of faith, gratitude, generosity, and unity among all Filipinos. Warm greetings are extended to everyone observing Eid’l Adha.

PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF AKLAN, GINAWARAN NG CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NG NCCA

GINAWARAN ng Certificate of Compliance ang Provincial Government of Aklan ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) matapos matagumpay na maisumite ang Local Cultural Inventory ng lalawigan para sa taong 2025.

Alinsunod ito sa Section 14(b) ng amended National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009 o Republic Act No. 11961 at sa DILG-NCCA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2021-001.

Patunay ang pagkilalang ito sa patuloy na pagsisikap ng lalawigan na mapangalagaan, maidokumento, at maipasa sa susunod na henerasyon ang mayamang kultura at pamana ng Aklan. | JN

This National Heritage Month, the Municipality of Nabas proudly celebrates the rich culture, traditions, and identity that shape us as Nabasnon.

Through the successful 3-Day Youth Forum on Heritage, our young Nabasnon were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of local history, cultural heritage, and community pride. Their active participation proves that the future of our heritage lies in the hands of the youth who continue to value, preserve, and share the stories of our people.

As we celebrate this meaningful occasion, may we continue to inspire the younger generation to become guardians of our culture and champions of Nabasnon heritage for years to come.
