To Our Valued Concessionaires,

Please be informed that due to the emergency repair of 6 inches mainline at Brgy. Bugasongan will cause a temporary water interruption at Brgy. Bugasongan highway, Brgy. Bagto highway and parts of Poblacion Lezo beginning today 10am until 5pm. Water supply will resume after repair. Store enough water prior to the repair activity.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7601, the 11th of February is declared a Special Non-working Public Holiday in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo in commemoration of the death anniversary of the late Governor Evelio B. Javier.

Our office will be closed on February 11, 2026 (Wednesday).

Regular operations will resume on February 12, 2026 (Thursday).

Please be informed that due to the emergency repair of Chlorinator Line of Mactan Rock TGV (water supply provider of NWD) will cause a temporary water interruption/low pressure beginning from 1:00 pm to 3:00pm this day. Background History

The Numancia Water District (NWD) was created on July 18, 1986 under P.D. 198 and is a government owned and controlled corporation under the supervision of LWUA, and with its mandate that is to provide potable water for the municipality of Numancia. In 2009 the district decided to expand its operation to the two towns of Lezo and Makato. And since then up to the present, the district is providing the water supply for these three (3) municipalities.

THE BOARD

The Numancia Water District (NWD) has five (5) Board of Directors, namely: Engr. Joaquin S. Templonuevo, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Arnulfo T. Magcope, Vice Chairman; Mrs. Corazon Lourdes T. Tribo, Board Secretary; Mrs. Wenefreda U. Taran, Member; and Engr. Danny G. Tafalla, Member.
