Throwing it back to last June 20, when we welcomed Issa delos Santos—host, model, beauty queen, and Miss Aura International 2024 First Runner-Up 👑, for an inspiring Student’s Portfolio session on what it truly means to be Confidently Beautiful.

Through an engaging pep talk, Issa shared her journey in pageantry and media, encouraging participants to embrace self-confidence, authenticity, and the beauty that comes from within. She reminded us that confidence isn't about perfection, it's about owning who you are and growing into the best version of yourself.

The afternoon became even more exciting with a hands-on makeup and hairstyling session, where participants learned simple beauty techniques, everyday styling tips, and practical ways to express themselves with confidence. 💄✨

Last June 27, Tahilan once again carried out our monthly sTREATfood outreach, sharing meals and kindness with over a hundred delivery riders, street workers, and vendors in our community. ❤️

This monthly initiative continues to remind us that even the simplest acts of generosity can make a meaningful difference—one meal, one conversation, and one smile at a time.

Some places never stop feeling like home. ❤️

ALIRON brought together the alumnae of Batch 2016–2025 for a joyful homecoming filled with laughter, shared stories, and familiar faces. It was a celebration of friendships that have stood the test of time and of the memories that continue to connect us, no matter where life has taken us.

As we looked back on the journey we've shared, we were reminded that Tahilan will always be more than a residence, it is a Home Away From Home, where lifelong bonds are formed and every return feels like coming home. 🏡

A little throwback to one of our Student’s Portfolio sessions last May with Dr. Abby Palileo from UERM Memorial Hospital.

From handling cuts and burns to knowing what to do when someone faints, chokes, or experiences a medical emergency, we picked up practical first aid skills that we hope we’ll rarely need—but are always glad to know.

Because sometimes, being prepared is one of the best ways to care for the people around us.

Last May 27, Tahilan staff and residents visited the Metropolitan Museum of Manila for a day filled with art, culture, creativity, and a little bit of nostalgia. 🎨📖✨

One of the highlights of our visit was OMOCHA: Japanese Toys Today 🎮🧸, an exhibit showcasing the evolution of Japanese toys—from beloved classics to modern innovations. Visitors were delighted to spot familiar favorites such as Chiikawa 😊🌟, Hello Kitty 🎀, miniature toy collections, and interactive displays that celebrated the joy of play across generations. The exhibit reminded us that toys are more than objects of fun—they are reflections of culture, imagination, and childhood memories.

We also explored exhibits featuring contemporary art, stories of identity and heritage, and works that encouraged reflection on memory, creativity, and self-expression. 🖼️🌿 Each gallery offered a unique perspective, inviting us to slow down, observe, and engage with the stories behind every piece.

From colorful installations and thought-provoking artworks to playful exhibits and meaningful conversations, the museum visit was both educational and inspiring. 💭❤️

A wonderful day spent discovering how art, history, and culture continue to shape the way we see the world. 🌎✨

⚓🌊 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙮!

You can almost hear the crew of the galleon Santo Espiritu cry out as you enter the Museo del Galeon 🚢✨, a newly opened maritime museum located at SM Mall of Asia.

Last April 30, 2026, Tahilan staff and residents set sail on a journey through history as they visited the museum and were welcomed by a magnificent replica of one of the Manila Galleons that plied the Manila–Acapulco–Manila route for over 250 years. 🌏⛵

Museo del Galeon tells the story of the Philippines’ rich maritime heritage, dating back to precolonial times when chiefdoms and kingdoms across Southeast Asia actively engaged in trade aboard Austronesian-designed vessels such as the balangay and karakoa. 🛶📜

Awaiting visitors are ship replicas, rare maps, artifacts, sculptures, immersive audio-visual presentations, interactive exhibits, and captivating stories that bring our maritime past to life.
