[CCAPDEV INCENTIVES: TAKE-HOME ACTIVITY 🚀]

For all CCAPDEV students looking to earn their incentives for Starter Stack, here is everything you need to know regarding the take-home activity and submission process. In partnership with the Peer Tutors Society, we’ve made sure this activity directly reinforces the full-stack skills covered during the workshop.

Target Sections:
This incentive is available for students in the following CCAPDEV sections: S11, S12, S13, S15, S18, S19, S20, S21, and S22.

Submission Requirements:
To merit the incentive, you must provide proof of attendance, such as a photo taken during the event or a snippet of the code you wrote during the sessions. Additionally, while the take-home activity is a requirement for most, please confirm with your specific professor if they require the submission for your section.

Deadlines and Links:
The Google Form linked below contains the full specs for the take-home activity. Please note that the final activity submission is due on March 5.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for the Starter Stack workshop series! 💻✨

We are incredibly grateful to the students who spent their time with us diving into the world of web development. From mastering Front End Essentials on Day 1 to exploring the world of SQL on Day 2, your energy and curiosity made this event truly special.

Our goal was to bridge the gap between “No Stack” and “Full Stack,” and we hope you walked away with valuable new skills and the confidence to start building your own projects. Whether you were debugging your first line of CSS or crafting your first database query, we hope the lessons from our speakers and the DLSU Peer Tutors Society helped ignite your passion for tech.

The stars truly aligned at NEXUS: Constellate! 🌌 We’re still reeling from the incredible energy, the deep-dive tech talks, and the connections made that reminded us why we love this community. From the collaborative spirit to those "aha!" moments during the sessions, it was a day to remember.

A massive shoutout to our friends at Google Developer Groups on Campus Loyola for hosting such a stellar event! 🦅 Thank you for bringing the network together and for the warm welcome. It was an absolute blast representing DLSU and vibing with tech enthusiasts from different chapters and partner universities.

Calling all CCAPDEV students!

We’re heading into the final session of Starter Stack, and this is your chance to earn those incentives while building out your full-stack skills.

In partnership with the Peer Tutors Society, Day 2 is all about the backend.

Robert Encinas (Assistant VP for Web Development at PTS) will be leading the session, focusing on managing data and mastering SQL integration.

Incentivized Sections:
This session is specifically incentivized for students in the following CCAPDEV sections:

• S11, S12, S13, S15, S18, S19, S20, S21, and S22.

Important Updates:

[IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING STARTER STACK: DAY 2]

On behalf of GDG-DLSU and our partners at the Peer Tutors Society, we would like to provide an important update regarding the second day of our workshop series.

Due to unforeseen logistical constraints and security protocols, Starter Stack Day 2 will now be exclusively open to DLSU students. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause our external participants. This decision was made to ensure the safety and quality of the learning experience for everyone involved. We are committed to exploring ways to share our resources with the wider community in the future.

We are officially 48 hours away from Starter Stack. If you are tired of just watching tutorials and are ready to actually build something, this is the workshop for you.

In partnership with the Peer Tutors Society, we’ve designed this 2-day sprint to ensure you walk away with a functional full-stack app.

Day 1: Frontend Foundations
Alec Nono will be leading the first session, focusing on mastering modern UI using React and Tailwind CSS.

Day 2: Backend & Data
Robert Enincas takes over for Day 2 to bridge the gap with backend logic and SQL integration.
