PCAARRD-LGU COLLABORATION PROJECT PROJECT TITLE: Gender-responsive Organic Vegetable Production Livelihood Enterprise for Low-Income

GOAL: Improved economic empowerment of men and women in low-income communities of Los Banos, Laguna and their co-workers

OBJECTIVES
1. To determine gender norms, roles, and address gender issues that limit participation of men and women-farmer-cooperators in agri-based livelihood opportunities
2. To capacitate underprivileged men and women in selected communities of Los Banos with a sustainable l

ivelihood on science-based organic vegetable production and marketing
3. To improve coordination and service delivery among stakeholders and partner agencies in the areas of organic agriculture technologies and gender
4. To provide enabling policies and regulatory environment for a gender-responsive sustainable livelihood on organic organic vegetable production and marketing
