❤️ MerNel’s — The Home of the Famous Chocolate Cake
Behind every sweet success is a heart that believes, cares, and never stops giving.
At the heart of MerNel’s is Merle—the woman whose journey is more than building a business. It is a story of passion, perseverance, compassion, and malasakit sa kapwa. From humble beginnings, she helped grow MerNel’s into a name that has become part of countless celebrations.
Every cake carries a piece of that heart—a reminder that true success is not only about what we achieve, but also about the people we serve, the lives we touch, and the goodness we share. 🎂❤️
Today, MerNel’s Food Corporation proudly stands as a member of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Los Baños (PCCI Los Baños), the Voice of Business, joining fellow entrepreneurs and stakeholders in promoting collaboration, community development, and meaningful service to Los Baños.
MerNel's—where sweet success comes from a heart full of love, compassion, and malasakit.

LB Ready forum highlights prevention, emergency response for workplace incidents

On September 12, LB Ready: Violent Incidents Awareness and Emergency Response in the Workplace organized by the Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (MAGPTD) and the Philippine National Police (PNP)–Los Baños, concluded and brought together discussions on workplace safety, incident prevention, and emergency response.

PSSg Aristeo Nuno discussed theft and robbery, encouraging participants to report incidents and pursue formal complaints even after recovering stolen or robbed belongings to help hold offenders accountable. PMAJ Francisco S. Buhay further explained the difference between theft and robbery and discussed shooting incidents. Meanwhile, Mr. Nathan Antonio of the Operations Center introduced iLB-Safe, an application developed by Laguna University students that allows users to send reports and seek emergency assistance. The students also demonstrated how to use the application. Mayor Neil Andrew Nocon of Los Baños later joined the event and also gave a talk highlighting the importance of keeping Los Bañenses safe.

The event concluded with a forum featuring Mr. Nathan Antonio, PEMS Gregorio B. Bisenio Jr., PSSg Aristeo Nuno, and PMAJ Francisco S. Buhay, where attendees raised situational questions based on incidents they had experienced in their businesses. The panel shared practical tips and emphasized the importance of taking preemptive measures to help prevent incidents and strengthen workplace safety. | via Denzel Hopio
