PICPA Albay Joins ACCI General Membership Meeting

PICPA Albay participated in the ACCI General Membership Meeting of the Albay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) held on September 24, 2026, at the Casablanca Convention Center, Legazpi City.

Representing PICPA Albay was Ms. Emelita Baritua, Chair for Advocacies, who joined fellow members of the Albay business community in an afternoon of networking, learning, and meaningful dialogue.

The program featured discussions on Digital Marketing for MSMEs, updates from ARTA Regional Field Office – South Luzon, and a dialogue with ALECO Acting General Manager Romeo V. Acuesta, including an open Q&A session where members were able to raise concerns and exchange insights.

PICPA Albay appreciates the opportunity to be part of this gathering and to engage with ACCI and other stakeholders in discussions that affect the local business community.

We look forward to stronger collaboration among professional organizations, government agencies, and the business sector in advancing the interests of Albay’s business community.

📻 PICPA Albay Joins Hello BIR Radio’s 1st Anniversary

PICPA Albay Chapter joined the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Region No. 10 – Bicol in celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Hello BIR Radio Program on September 24 at the SM City Legazpi Activity Center.

With the theme “One Year of Service: Bringing Tax Awareness Thru the Airwaves,” the celebration marked a year of bringing tax information and awareness closer to the public through the airwaves.

The event brought together BIR officials, partners, and stakeholders who have supported the program throughout the year. Among those present from the BIR were Regional Director Mary Jane Asuncion, Assistant Regional Director Imelda Moroña, and RDO Alexander Onte of RDO No. 67.

PICPA Albay was represented by Atty. Jeffrey Aguilar, Past President and current Director for Commerce and Industry; Ms. Emelita Baritua, Chair for Advocacies; and Ms. Maya Roncesvalles, Public Relations Officer.

PICPA Albay also set up a PICPA Membership Booth during the event, providing information on membership, registration, renewal, and other membership concerns.

It was a great opportunity for PICPA Albay to continue working alongside the BIR in promoting tax awareness, professional responsibility, and good governance.
