Your educational exposure gave us an opportunity to share our journey, advocacy, and experiences in providing hope, support, and a bridge between society and cancer warriors. ποΈ
As part of your Disciplines and Ideas in the Applied Social Sciences (DIASS), particularly in the field of Social Work, this experience goes beyond the classroom. It allows you to connect the concepts you have learned with real-life community experiences and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of social support, advocacy, compassion, and social mobilization.
We are grateful for your interest in learning about the experiences of cancer warriors and their families, as well as the role of organizations, social workers, and communities in supporting vulnerable sectors.
