After the demise of the immediate family members in the Crisostomo/Monzon family, treasures in the form of properties were left by their parents Domiciano, Marta & their 7 older daughters & sons under the care of Elena & Remedios Monzon. As early as mid ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, Elena with her younger sister, Remedios, were consistent donors to a lot of community projects both in the municipality of
Imus, church projects and corporal works of mercy. Arturo Monzon-Balagat, adopted son of Pilar, Rosario and Elena followed the same passion. While a Pastor in different parishes of the Diocese of San Bernardino, CA., U.S.A., he was instrumental in organizing NAPCON (National Alliance on Philippine Concerns), a Human rights advocacy and social concerns organization for the Philippines; Founder and First President of National Filipino Ministry, U.S.A. and National Asian Pacific Catholic Organization (NAPCO). Slowly but surely when he came back in 2009 from the United states, to take care of his foster mom, Elena and aunt, Remedios they collectively realized to formalize their common passion of extending a’ helping hand to make others life better’ with the assistance of Atty. Saulog,Jr., Digna Sayaman and Judge Imelda Saulog. In July, 2012, ELENA & REMEDIOS MONZON FAMILY FOUNDATION ( ERMFF) was organized, officially established, and registered to Social Exchange Commission (SEC) last December 2012.
