| The UM Digos College Junior Finance Executives (JFINEX), through the BSBA-Financial Management program under the Department of Business Administration, officially launched the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗙𝗟𝗟𝗖) on October 14, 2026.

Through partnerships with agencies from the banking, government, and cooperative sectors, the initiative aims to equip students with practical money management skills, responsible saving habits, and smart budgeting strategies.

Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on mental health research and advocacy between 𝗨𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗰.-𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗦, or the Development and Psychometric Validation of the Filipino Eco-Anxiety Scale, a DOST-NRCP funded research under Grants-in-Aid (GIA) Program.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The Peer Facilitators Organization (PFO), under the Guidance Services and Testing Center (GSTC), in collaboration with the Junior Advocates of Psychology in Society (J**S), held an awareness campaign at the UM Digos College Field on September 18, 2026, in observance of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Carrying the theme “𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚,” the campaign featured activities that encouraged the UMDC community to connect, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations on mental health and su***de prevention. The initiative aimed to promote greater awareness and understanding of mental health concerns while fostering an environment that supports open and informed conversations on campus.
