The College of Computing Engineering and Technology (CCET) joined the 7th Foundation Day celebration of Davao del Sur State College, held from February 17 to 21, 2026, as it presented an interactive booth that highlighted innovation, collaboration, and student creativity. Throughout the week, students from different colleges visited the booth to explore its displays and participate in the various activities prepared by the CCET - LSC.
One of the boothโs main attractions was the showcase of diverse agricultural model designs, equipment, and machinery that demonstrated the practical applications of technology in modern agriculture. Visitors were also able to see the ABE Department's newly procured tractor, which symbolized the institutionโs continued commitment to strengthening agricultural and technological education. In addition, Information Technology students presented several programming innovations that reflected their skills in developing digital solutions and modern applications.
Beyond the academic and technological exhibits, the booth also offered a relaxing space through Rosa de Cafรฉ, a cafรฉ concept that provided drinks and a comfortable place for visitors to unwind. Board games were made available for students who wished to spend time with friends while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the Foundation Week celebration. To further engage visitors, a variety of mini-games such as darts, the wire loop game, and the viral human slot machine were set up, drawing excitement and participation from students across the campus.
The Supreme Student Council also organized several activities during the celebration, and the CCET Local Student Council actively took part in these events. Among the competitions they joined were Hugyawera, the Mascot Showcase, the Booth Design Contest, Poster Making, and Mobile Legends Tournament. Their participation reflected the enthusiasm and strong presence of CCET students in campus-wide events.
The success of the CCET booth was made possible through the combined efforts of the Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Students and the Society of Information Technology Students, with the leadership of LSC Secretary McDave Gepitulan, Socio-Head Mary Carlie Blanco, Finance Jian Niza Aceron, Auditor Edwin Lyn Geraldez, and Technical-Head Aya Faye Mancia , together with the PSABE Officers and Neophytes who assisted behind the scenes. Through their cooperation and dedication, the booth became a vibrant space where innovation, creativity, and student camaraderie were clearly showcased, allowing many DSSC students to enjoy and appreciate what CCET had to offer during the Foundation Day celebration.
