The Humanitarian Relief Operations for Mayon Evacuees represent a united and compassionate response to the urgent needs of families affected by the ongoing activity of Mayon Volcano. As displacement disrupts lives and creates uncertainty, this initiative aims to bring not only essential supplies such as food, water, hygiene kits, and clothing, but also a message of hope, care, and solidarity.
Guided by the Lions Clubs’ core mission of humanitarian service, volunteers and partner clubs have come together to ease the burden of those temporarily sheltered in evacuation centers. Beyond the physical assistance, our presence serves as a reminder that these communities are not alone—that there are people ready to listen, support, and walk with them through this challenging time.
Through this outreach, we affirm our belief that service is more than an act—it’s a commitment to uplift lives, restore dignity, and stand with others in moments of hardship. Together, we serve with heart, strength, and purpose—because in the face of disaster, humanity must always rise.
