✨ PROJECT B.A.S.A. UPDATES ✨

Last March 10, 2026, we successfully conducted the Storybook Presentation and Judging for Project B.A.S.A. (Bayanihan Alang sa Sulong na Abilidad), featuring the creative works of our very own future educators from the 1st and 2nd year.

This meaningful activity was held in the presence of our esteemed professors, Professor Francis Louise B. Ersando, MEd, and Professor Justine Marie Muñez Colonia, MAEd, whose guidance and expertise greatly contributed to the success of the event.

With deep appreciation for the creativity, effort, and dedication of all participants, we are proud to share that five outstanding storybooks have been carefully selected and will soon be published 📚✨

At the same time, we extend our sincere recognition to all participants whose works showcased unique ideas, creativity, and passion for storytelling. Each story contributed to the success of this initiative and reflected the growing potential of our future educators.

This milestone stands as a testament to what we can achieve through bayanihan, collaboration, and shared purpose 💙

Stay tuned as we bring these stories to life—one page at a time.

EduHive, Scouting and Leadership Training Hub was more than just an event, it became a space where passion met purpose, and future educators stepped into the kind of leadership they are meant to embody. 🏕️

Led by Sir Kylle T. Pulmones, alongside five dedicated Scouts, Rylle Seth A. Baldomar, Clarence Paul Ouano, Ian P. Zwahlen, Matt Ray L. Gavas, and Miguel Benedict E. Sala, the event was filled with meaningful learning and shared experiences. With the presence of Girl Scout volunteers Sheina Shay S. Tampus, and Amanda Bernadette D. Borinaga, the spirit of unity and collaboration shone even brighter. 💚🤎🐝

The turnout of Education students was nothing short of inspiring. Many showed up eager to learn, participate, and grow, and even those who were not feeling their best still chose to be present. That kind of commitment speaks volumes, and we are deeply grateful for everyone who made the effort to be there. 🤝

EduHive stood as a true success, a reflection of dedication, teamwork, and a shared vision for empowering future educators. It was not just about learning scouting skills, it was about becoming teachers who lead with heart, resilience, and purpose. 🌿✨

Because in every hive, each effort matters, and together, something meaningful is built. 🌟🐝⟡˚ ݁⋆˖₊.𓂃

Happy Birthday to SED’s House of Representative, Hon. Den Joseph Repaso! 🎉🩵

Today, we celebrate not only your birthday but also the blessing that your life is to the people around you. You are someone who leads with faith, sincerity, and a genuine heart for service. In a world where leadership is often defined by position, you remind us that true leadership comes from humility, integrity, and a heart that truly cares for others.

Your dedication, reliability, and quiet strength have touched many lives in ways you may not always see. Through your actions, your guidance, and even the simple moments of encouragement you give, you continue to inspire those around you to become better. Your strong faith in God and your commitment to serving with purpose reflect the kind of person you truly are — someone grounded in values, compassion, and responsibility.

There are people who lead with authority, but there are also people who lead with their heart — and you are one of those rare individuals who does both. Your presence in SED is not just appreciated, it is deeply valued. Many people look up to you not only as a leader but also as a person whose faith, kindness, and sincerity make a lasting difference.

As you celebrate another year of life, we pray that God continues to guide your path, strengthen your spirit, and bless every dream and goal you carry in your heart. May He grant you wisdom in every decision, peace in every challenge, and joy in every success that comes your way. May your life continue to be a testimony of faith, service, and purpose.

Always remember that the kindness you show, the faith you hold onto, and the service you give never go unnoticed. You are appreciated, respected, and valued more than words can fully express.

May this birthday remind you that your life is meaningful, your efforts matter, and your presence in the lives of others is truly a gift.

Wishing you a blessed and joyful birthday, filled with love, gratitude, and countless reasons to smile.

With sincere appreciation and respect,
Your SED HR's Family 🩵✨

Scouting remains a vital co‑curricular program in many basic education institutions, serving as a powerful avenue for values formation, leadership development, and community engagement among learners. As future educators, Education students are often expected to handle or assist Girl Scout 💚 and Boy Scout 🤎 programs, yet many enter the profession without adequate training or exposure to scouting principles and practices.

𝑬𝒅𝒖𝑯𝒊𝒗𝒆: 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 & 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒖𝒃 addresses this gap by providing a structured training and mentorship platform where Education students can learn directly from experienced Scout leaders within the university. Through interactive talks 🎤, hands‑on workshops 🔧, and experiential activities 🌿🏕️, the platform equips future teachers with the confidence 💪, competence 🎯, and ethical grounding ⚖️ needed to lead scouting programs effectively.
By integrating scouting education into professional preparation, EduHive strengthens the School of Education’s commitment to holistic teacher formation—one that extends beyond academic instruction to include leadership 🏆, service 🤲, and character development rooted in community and nation‑building.
Because every step forward by a teacher lights the path for many more learners to follow. 🌟

The USJ-R Supreme Student Council – School of Education House of Representatives proudly conducted PROJECT B.A.S.A. (Bayanihan Alang sa Sulong na Abilidad): SED Talk Session 2 last January 31, 2026, through an online platform via Google Meet, with the active participation of our 1st and 2nd Year Josenian Educators.

This session featured a hands-on Layout Workshop facilitated by Professor Justine Marie Muñez Colonia, MAEd, which focused on the layout and design process of creating storybooks using Canva. The discussion guided future educators in organizing content and visuals effectively to produce engaging, clear, and age-appropriate storybooks.

Through this session, participants were able to enhance their practical skills in instructional material development—strengthening creativity, visual planning, and purposeful design in support of literacy initiatives.

The USJ-R Supreme Student Council – School of Education House of Representatives remains committed to empowering pre-service teachers through meaningful programs that develop both pedagogical and creative competencies.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of PROJECT B.A.S.A. 💙📘✨
