From ๐€๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿโ€“๐Ÿ๐Ÿ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the Josenian Educators (JOED) took a decisive stand for environmental sustainability through the ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž ๐“๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐› ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‘๐ž๐ž๐Ÿ ๐‘๐ž๐ก๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ˆ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž at the Gawi Marine Sanctuary in ๐†๐š๐ฐ๐ข, ๐Ž๐ฌ๐ฅ๐จ๐›, ๐‚๐ž๐›๐ฎ.

This mission was spearheaded by ๐— ๐—ฟ. ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐˜… ๐—ฅ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—น๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜‡, whose leadership and technical guidance were the driving forces behind this successful restoration effort. We first and foremost commend the ๐‰๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐š๐ง ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ (๐‰๐Ž๐„๐ƒ) for their dedication and active participation, proving that our mentors are not only leaders in the classroom but also primary stewards of our natural resources.

The Blue Thumb Coral Reef Rehabilitation Initiative aimed to restore damaged coral reefs by planting coral fragments on artificial structures which promotes marine biodiversity and ecosystem recovery in the Gawi Marine Sanctuary. This initiative aims to engage the students, faculty and community partners in environmental conservation and marine protection activities.

The seed grant competition was organized to nurture the innovative and sustainable minds of the Council of College Students Organization (CCSO) leaders and to empower them to navigate their leadership journey with purpose. The Pitch Presentations, held on ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฐ๐—ต 14-15, 2026 ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—ฎ ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐˜‚๐—ฝ, allowed proponents to further justify and present their proposed initiatives.
