𝟭𝟬𝟯𝗖𝗗𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝗼 𝗟𝗚𝗨

The 103rd Community Defense Center (103CDC), 1st Regional Community Defense Group (1RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), conducted a courtesy call with the Municipal Government of Agoo to strengthen coordination and identify areas of collaboration in support of community activities and local partnership at the Municipal Government Office of Agoo, La Union, on October 7, 2026.

Maj. Ryan Ronald D. Bello, Director, 103CDC, together with TSg Rolly P. Ablao and 2Lt. Maria Estela V. Aquino PA (Res), Company Commander, Charlie Company, 103rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (103RRIBn), met with Hon. Frank O. Sibuma, Municipal Mayor of Agoo. The engagement provided an avenue to discuss potential areas of cooperation and further strengthen coordination between the 103CDC and the local government unit.

The courtesy call reaffirmed the commitment of the 103CDC and its partner stakeholders to foster meaningful collaboration in support of community initiatives. Through sustained engagement with local government units, the Reserve Force continues to contribute to responsive and community-oriented service in La Union.

𝟳𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝟳𝟬𝟮𝗖𝗗𝗖

The 7th Regional Community Defense Group (7RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), conducted the Turn-Over Ceremony for the Director of the 702nd Community Defense Center (702CDC) at Headquarters 702CDC, Camp Bernido, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, on October 6, 2026.

Presided over by Col. Ricky N. Parcon, Group Commander, 7RCDG, the ceremony formally marked the designation of Col. Alejandro D. Malaran as the new Director, 702CDC, succeeding Lt. Col. Henry A. Pang-ay, the outgoing Officer-in-Charge. In his message, Col. Parcon expressed confidence in Col. Malaran and emphasized the importance of committed leadership, teamwork, and dedication in fulfilling the CDC’s mission.

The leadership transition underscores the continuing efforts of 702CDC to strengthen the Reserve Force and sustain meaningful engagements with stakeholders in the Province of Bohol. Under its new leadership, the Center remains committed to developing a capable, organized, and responsive Reserve Force in support of the Philippine Army’s mission.

𝟮𝟬𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝟳𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The 203rd Infantry Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, Philippine Army, conducted an official visit to the Headquarters, 17th Regional Community Defense Group (17RCDG), to strengthen coordination and support Reserve Force development at Brgy. San Juan, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, on October 5, 2026.

Col. Dennis C. Gutierrez, Deputy Brigade Commander, 203rd Infantry Brigade, together with his team, was formally welcomed by Col. Arnold D. Lozada, Acting Group Commander, 17RCDG. Discussions focused on the current security situation within the area of responsibility, the status of Ready Reserve Units, ongoing reservist training activities, and the implementation of Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) programs and Reserve Force Development initiatives in support of the 2nd Infantry Division’s operational campaign.

The engagement provided an avenue to strengthen coordination between the 203rd Infantry Brigade and 17RCDG in developing a capable, organized, and responsive Reserve Force. Through sustained collaboration and the implementation of relevant training and development initiatives, both units continue to contribute to the Philippine Army’s operational readiness and mission accomplishment.

His life stands as a testament to selfless service and quiet heroism, and his legacy will forever live in the hearts of RESCOM, PA.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), officially opened its 2026 Sportsfest to promote unity, camaraderie, and healthy competition among its personnel at Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo, on October 5, 2026.

The opening ceremony brought together officers, organic personnel, reservists from the six Community Defense Centers (CDCs) of Region VI, and civilian human resource personnel. Col. Delfin C. Consolacion Jr., Deputy Group Commander, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of unity, camaraderie, and active participation throughout the Sportsfest. Col. Edralin L. Poblete, Group Commander, delivered an inspirational message emphasizing discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, mutual respect, and cooperation among personnel in fulfilling their shared commitment to service.

Beyond competition, the Sportsfest provides an avenue to promote physical fitness, strengthen relationships, and foster cooperation among personnel from different CDCs and sections of the unit. Through activities that encourage discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, 6RCDG continues to build stronger bonds among its personnel while supporting the development of a cohesive and mission-ready Reserve Force.

The 805th Community Defense Center (805CDC), 8th Regional Community Defense Group (8RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), received BGen. Patricio S. Tomales, Deputy Commander, RESCOM, PA, during his visit to the Center and the 564th Engineering Battalion (564EBn), 53rd Engineering Brigade (53EBde), Philippine Army, on October 5, 2026.

At the 805CDC, Maj. Rowell A. Tagala, Director, 805CDC, presented the Center’s capabilities, accomplishments, and ongoing initiatives in support of Reserve Force readiness, organization, and employment. The Deputy Commander also engaged with officers and enlisted personnel of the 805th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (805RRIBn), emphasizing the importance of maintaining a capable, organized, and responsive Reserve Force. At the 564EBn, 53EBde, PA, BGen. Tomales was received with arrival honors and welcomed by Lt. Col. Eladio V. Lumantas Jr., Commanding Officer, 564EBn, 53EBde, PA.

The visit reaffirmed the commitment of the 805CDC and 805RRIBn to support the Philippine Army’s mission, contribute to socio-economic development, and provide assistance during disaster response, relief, rescue, and other emergencies. Under the leadership of Col. Ramonito C. Taboy, Group Commander, 8RCDG, and the direction of Maj. Tagala, the 805CDC remains committed to maintaining a ready, organized, and responsive Reserve Force in support of the people of Southern Leyte.

On October 2, 2026, MGen. Ronald Jess S. Alcudia, Commander, Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), visited the Western Mindanao Command (WESMINCOM) to strengthen coordination, foster closer collaboration, and advance Reserve Force development.

MGen. Alcudia engaged with Col. Rommel S. Valencia, Chief of Unified Command Staff, WESMINCOM, and BGen. Adriano S. J. Duadico, Wing Commander, Tactical Operations Wing Western Mindanao (TOWWESTMIN), Philippine Air Force (PAF). The leadership meeting provided an avenue to discuss key areas of cooperation in support of Reserve Force development and shared operational objectives.

The visit underscored the importance of sustained coordination and interoperability among the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ unified and service commands. Through continued engagements with partner commands, RESCOM, PA, remains committed to building strategic partnerships and advancing a capable, organized, and responsive Reserve Force in support of the Philippine Army’s mission.
