Today, the DCC-CEA family grieves the loss of a dear friend and classmate. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of JC Lobo Silvestre, a 4th-year student from the Department of Civil Engineering, who peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father on September 25, 2025.

Together with the entire CEA community, we will forever cherish the laughter and memories JC shared with us. He took part in memorable activities over the past academic years—competing as a campus chess player and gracefully representing the college on stage.

Beyond achievements, JC will always be remembered for his passion, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

For those who wish to pay their last respects, JC may be visited at Purok 7, Sto. Rosario, Macabebe, Pampanga.

The 1st Degenderized Pinning Ceremony for 4th Year Architecture was held on May 19, 2025. Students marked a significant milestone filled with creativity, discipline, and individuality. This innovative event celebrated academic achievements and the unique journeys each student undertook throughout their architectural studies.

With the inspiring theme "Sketched in Passion, Framed by Perspective: Honoring the Lines that Shaped the Journey," the ceremony offered a platform to reflect on the evolution of each student's ideas and concepts. This ceremony displays a testament to the passion and dedication that each student poured into their work, revealing the depth of their commitment to the art and science of architecture.

The event highlighted that reaching this next academic step was about more than just receiving a pin; it was an opportunity to acknowledge the stories behind every sketch, the thoughtful intentions behind each concept, and the diverse identities that influenced every design decision. The guest shared and emphasized the personal and collective experiences that shape their understanding of architectural principles.

Moreover, the ceremony was a powerful reminder that architecture transcends a mere profession. It embodies a convergence of diversity, innovative thought, and visionary ideals, all collaborating to create spaces that leave a lasting impact on communities and the environment.
