Thank you to all the preceptors who stood by us in every event 𝗔𝗘𝗟𝗣 was part of. Your willingness to tackle our LET quizzes and help us expand our vocabulary with unfamiliar words meant more than you know. The University Student Council recognizes the efforts of each student organization that have become necessary to the upliftment of peace, security, and procurement of successful accomplishments for the 2 years direction of the Macaspac Administration with the Directorate for Counterintelligence of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.

On July 19th, Friday, these student organizations shall be given the recognition they deserve at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center with the theme the "HONORIAN PAUL" : Peace Advancement; Unabated Leadership!

The outgoing USC President Paul Andrei Macaspac have redirected the student welfare landscape of the university by focusing in dangerous drugs, peace and security, and affirmative action.

Thank you very much President Macaspac for serving the public, particularly the least, the last, the unpopular, and the lost.

As part of the annual gathering and celebration of State Universities and Colleges (SUC) all over the Philippines, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, along with Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training & Extension Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, and Planning and Development Office Director Dr. Eddiebal P. Layco, attended the opening ceremony of the SUC Fair 2024 held at KCC Mall de Zamboanga on July 9, 2024.

The event was presented by the Commission on Higher Education in partnership with Western Mindanao State University, with the theme “Weaving Culture and Innovations for a Transformative, Resilient, and Globally-recognized Philippine Higher Education.”

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was honored with a Plaque of Recognition from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for its significant partnership and support of the USAID RenewHealth Project.

The award was received by Ms. Erika S. Batac and Ms. Frances Joy C. Ocampo from the DHVSU Counseling and Testing Center during the culminating activity of the project entitled "Our Shared Journey: Celebrating Milestones in Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation in the Philippines."

The event was held in observance of the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 28, 2024, at The Loft, Arete, Ateneo De Manila University.

The accolade recognizes DHVSU’s active partnership and support of the community-based drug rehabilitation program, conducted in collaboration with the DHVSU Occupational and Safety Health Office.

"Layout", "Caption", "Ask for a stamp." Those were just a few of your favorite lines in our group chat. Sometimes, we often wonder, do you still find time for yourself? You're busy with so much work inside and outside the school, yet the little free time you have, you spend it with us. We never feel like we're just your students and advisees. You've shown us that even though we're college students, whether inside the classroom or within our organization, we still need someone to guide us, to care for us like parents do. And you've been there, fulfilling that need for us.

Remember the time we found out you wouldn't be our adviser anymore? We were truly saddened. How could we survive another semester without the adviser who did nothing but understand us? Who put so much effort into helping us? Even when we forgot our responsibilities in our organization, you didn't get mad. Instead, you gently reminded us. We know it wasn't easy being you, our dearest adviser. It wasn't easy to handle everything, yet you managed it. It wasn't easy for you, yet you made it easy for us to make it through our semesters.

And if there comes a time when we have to leave the organization and the school, always remember that we will carry all your teachings. We will cherish the memories of the laughter we shared. Thank you for turning this organization into a family. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for your presence and your guidance.

Happy birthday, Miss Maybhel. You're our safe space, our best friend, our second guardian, and our beloved adviser. We wish you all the best because you truly deserve it. We hope you never change.
