Under the theme, “Catholic Education in Region VIII: Mapping a Constellation of Unity and Hope,” the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) Region VIII successfully convened its 2026 Regional Assembly on July 25, 2026, at Madison Plaza Hotel, Tacloban City, gathering Catholic educational leaders, administrators, and representatives from member schools across the region.

The assembly brought together delegates from the Archdiocese of Palo and the Dioceses of Borongan, Calbayog, Catarman, Maasin, and Naval, and was graced by CEAP President Fr. Karl S. San Juan, SJ, CEAP Executive Director Mr. Narcy F. Ador Dionisio, keynote speaker Fr. Daniel Franklin E. Pilario, CM, and Hon. Jude A. Acidre, Chairperson of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, reaffirming the commitment of Catholic schools to foster unity, hope, and collaborative action in advancing Catholic education throughout Eastern Visayas.

A day before the CEAP Region VIII Regional Assembly, our School Heads from the Basic Education and Tertiary CEAP Member Schools gathered with a common purpose—to strengthen our shared mission in Catholic education.

The Basic Education School Heads Meeting was graciously hosted by Liceo del Verbo Divino, while the Tertiary School Heads Meeting was hosted by Holy Infant College of Tacloban City, Inc.

These gatherings provided an opportunity to discuss the CEAP Region VIII Regional Advocacies and identify common activities that will promote collaboration, unity, and the welfare of all CEAP member schools across the region.

Together, we continue to map a constellation of unity and hope, inspired by our shared commitment to forming communities of faith, excellence, and service.
