By virtue of Board of Regents Resolution No. 17, series of 2026, the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of the Project and Development Services Office, Dr. Gil Leovigildo A. Ancheta has been designated as the Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the University President following the early retirement of Dr. Benjamin L. Pecayo.

Dr. Ancheta will officially assume office as OIC-University President today, April 1, 2026.

With his outstanding knowledge and experience in the academe, public and private administration, and managerial competence, "Sir Gil" as he is fondly called, is now at the helm of the NwSSU community to a renewed commitment to the institutional values of resilience, integrity, service, and excellence (RISE) as we prepare to ascend to new feats.

🦅💙 Serving with Compassion 💙🦅

The Calbayog City Eagles Club (CCSC) and Hibatang Supremos Eagles Club continue their commitment to community service through a donation of Erythropoietin injections for dialysis patients, extending support to individuals undergoing life-sustaining treatment.

Through this small but meaningful initiative, we hope to ease the burden of those battling kidney disease and remind them that they are not alone in their journey.

Together, through compassion and brotherhood, we strive to make a difference in the lives of others.

Fellowship begins where leadership chooses to be present.

We matter. This mission matters. Our bond matters. Presence builds trust, and trust is the foundation of fellowship.

It is in shared meetings, shared service, shared struggles, and even shared celebrations that real connections are formed. When leaders attend, engage, and contribute, they create an atmosphere of unity and belonging.

In essence, fellowship does not grow in absence. It grows when leaders make the conscious decision to be there—consistent, involved, and committed. Because when leadership shows up, others feel encouraged to show up too. And from that shared presence, genuine brotherhood and collective strength are born. 🦅

𝑆𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐷𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙 𝑀𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛! 🦷🩺

In a collaboration project of Calbayog Sentinels Eagles Club and Hibatang Supremos Eagles Club with the Sangguniang Barangay of Danao I headed by Punong Barangay Antonio Sapinit, a Medical and Dental Mission dubbed as "Sentinels and Supremos Care: Community Medical and Dental Outreach", was successfully conducted in Barangay Danao I, Tinambacan District, Calbayog City, Samar on February 15, 2026.

This meaningful activity provided free consultations, check-ups, hygiene kits, and dental services to the community —bringing healthcare closer to those who need it most.
