Let this day inspire us to do more—not only for the animals we know and love, but also for those who are abandoned, forgotten, and waiting for someone to care.

WORLD RABIES DAY | SEPTEMBER 28

Rabies is preventable, but once clinical signs appear, it is almost always fatal. The good news? Prevention starts with simple, responsible actions.

VACCINATE YOUR PETS.
Regular rabies vaccination protects dogs, cats, families, and communities.

KNOW WHAT TO DO AFTER A BITE.
Immediately wash the wound with soap and running water for 15 minutes, then seek medical attention for proper post-exposure treatment.

DON’T FEAR STRAYS—HELP PROTECT THEM.
Not every stray animal has rabies. Humane population management, responsible pet ownership, and vaccination are key to preventing the spread of rabies.

This World Rabies Day, let’s remember that protecting animals is also protecting people.

𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟯 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗘𝗗 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦 🐾

Three kittens were found abandoned along the roadside by Ms. Kala Gally Ann Galleon from Baler, Aurora, while she was on her way home. They are currently receiving veterinary care and need financial assistance for their treatment, recovery, and other medical needs.

The kittens were found with worms and numerous fly eggs (maggot infestation) on their bodies. They have already been cleaned, but they remain weak and need to regain their strength before they can be dewormed and safely brought home.

Any amount will be a huge help for their veterinary care, medication, and other needs.
