To show support and to see the plans of its sponsored Rotaract Club of Angono, High Impact President Lia Arabit graced the 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲'𝘀 (ADRR's) 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, similar to Assistant Governor's Visit to Rotary. Rtn. Reynan Campana and Rtn. Jezrel Dennise Bismonte also attended this event.

Originally set as a face-to-face meeting, the Rotaractors attended both physically, and in online. This shows the adaptability of our youth in the modern era.

The club presented its 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻, a 4-year strategic plan for the organization. They were also able to present their current programs, proposed activities, and how stable the organization is.

To the Rotaract Club of Angono President Fran Padilla and the rest of Rotaract members, continue dreaming, continue planning, and most importantly, continue serving.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮 𝗧𝗕 & 𝗗𝘂𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝘂𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 | 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Following the overwhelming success of the Dugong Alay, Pag-asang Tunay Blood Letting Program, our day of service continued with renewed purpose. After a fellowship lunch at Jollibee, volunteers, partners, and community leaders gathered once again to support another meaningful initiative—“𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖 𝙏𝘽,” a health advocacy passionately championed by 𝗥𝘁𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻

This inspiring collaboration brought together dedicated organizations committed to protecting the health and well-being of every Angono resident. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝙁𝙐𝙅𝙄𝙁𝙄𝙇𝙈, 𝙏𝘽 𝙋𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, headed by Louie Zepeda-Teng, 𝙍𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙮𝙤𝙡𝙖 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 led by President Avellana Junmil, 𝙍𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙩𝙖𝙮 led by President Elmer Barde Deloritos, together with Past President Jerome Antiporda and the Rotaract Club of Angono headed by Pres. Fran Padilla and Sec. Hanna Jedzs Espinas and 𝙍𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙩𝙖𝙮 lead by Pres. Cheska Bolivar.

The Rotary CLUB of Angono, led by President Lia Arabit and her committed members like Honorio Gene Arabit as Committee Chair of this successful event as part of Disease Prevention and Treatment is one of Rotary International's Seven Areas of Focus. Rotarians combat both communicable and non-communicable diseases through health education.

The advocacy seminar was a tremendous success, educating participants on the prevention, early detection, treatment, and awareness of tuberculosis. More importantly, hundreds of community members benefited from FREE lung screenings, chest examinations, and other TB-related diagnostic services, giving many the opportunity for early detection and timely medical intervention.

The smiles, appreciation, and positive feedback from participants reflected the true impact of this initiative. It proved that when government, private partners, healthcare advocates, and Rotary unite with one mission, lives are changed, hope is restored, and healthier communities are built.

Together, we are proving that service, education, and collaboration create lasting impact.

𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

“Rotary is not just about meetings and badges… It is about touching lives, building friendships, and creating an impact that outlives us.”

Our 3rd Regular Club Meeting was another inspiring reminder that every Rotary gathering has a greater purpose. Every meeting is an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and create projects that will improve the lives of the communities we serve.

One of the highlights of the evening was the discussion on the 12𝘵𝘩 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘉𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴, a flagship initiative dedicated to promoting maternal health, safe pregnancy, and the well-being of mothers and their families. Through this program, Rotary continues its commitment to protecting life and building healthier communities.

We were also honored to welcome our distinguished guest speaker, 𝗥𝘁𝗻. 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗺𝗶𝗹 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮 of the 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, who shared valuable insights on the upcoming collaboration with FUJIFILM Philippines and TB People Philippines. The discussion focused on strengthening partnerships in the fight against tuberculosis through awareness, early detection, education, and community-based health initiatives.

These meaningful conversations reaffirm that Rotary is more than an organization—it is a family of People of Action united by compassion, service, and the desire to create lasting and sustainable change.

As we continue this Rotary year under the theme “Create Lasting Impact,” the Rotary Club of Angono remains committed to building stronger partnerships, empowering communities, and serving with integrity and purpose.

𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗼 proudly participated and launched the 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆, one of our most meaningful and sustainable community service projects dedicated to protecting the health and future of mothers, babies, and Filipino families.

For more than 12 years, the Annual Buntis Congress has become one of the Rotary Club of Angono’s signature high-impact and sustainable projects. With 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, the program has directly served an estimated 2,400 mothers. When their husbands or partners are included in the family education sessions, the project has already benefited nearly 4,800 immediate family members. Considering the positive effects on newborns, existing children, and the entire household, this initiative has touched and transformed the lives of well over 5,000 community beneficiaries—a lasting legacy of healthier mothers, stronger families, and a brighter future for the people of Angono.

This year’s Congress successfully gathered more than 200 pregnant women from six barangays of Angono, making it one of the largest maternal and child health initiatives in our community. More than a seminar, this is an investment in life itself.

Every expectant mother who attended received valuable knowledge from medical experts, healthcare professionals, and inspiring speakers on safe pregnancy, maternal nutrition, newborn care, breastfeeding, family planning, and responsible parenthood. Fathers and family members were also encouraged to participate, recognizing that raising a healthy child begins with a strong, informed, and supportive family.

The event became even more memorable through the generosity of our partners, who shared essential gifts, big prizes, food packs , even cash prizes , lots of Vitamins for mothers , baby’s and support that brought smiles and encouragement to every participant.

Together, we proved that when organizations unite with one purpose, they create lasting impact as told by our Rotary International District 3800 Governor Celso Montalla to Create Lasting Impact for our community, that reaches beyond a single day. Every healthy pregnancy we support strengthens a family. Every healthy child represents hope for a brighter future. Every informed parent helps build a stronger and healthier community.

RC Angono members together with President Lia Arabit, Club Project Chair Efren Ruallo Jr., Maternal and Child Health Care Chair Zenaida Santiago, Rtn. Mayor Gerry Calderon, Rotaract Club of Angono President Fran Padilla and President-Elect Hanna Jedzs Espinas are all blessed for this a successful project.

There is no greater investment than investing in the dreams of a child.

𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗼 Create Lasting Impact President Lia Arabit, once again proved that when compassionate people unite, lives are transformed. Through our “𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁” project, we extended hope and educational assistance to three (3) deserving students from Dr. Vivencio B. Villamayor Integrated School, Angono, Rizal—young dreamers who simply needed someone to believe in them.

This meaningful initiative was passionately led by Education and Literacy Chair, Rtn. Marife Baldono, together with Assistant Governor and Past President Efren Ruallo Jr. and Past President Honorio Gene Arabit, and dedicated members of the Rotary CLUB of Angono, Rotaractors of Angono . Working hand in hand , we demonstrated that service above self is not just a motto—it is a promise to our community.

Angono, Rizal — Demonstrating the true essence of Rotary through collaboration, strategic planning, and servant leadership, the Rotary Club of Angono successfully conducted its Second Regular Club Meeting for Rotary Year 2026–2027 under the inspiring theme, “Create Lasting Impact.”

The evening commenced with a meaningful presentation from Ms. Anniversary Mañaol Balbuena, representative of the University of Rizal System (URS) – Bachelor of Hospitality Management , who introduced a proposed collaborative community project between URS and the Rotary Club of Angono. The proposal generated enthusiastic discussion among the members, highlighting Rotary’s commitment to forging partnerships with educational institutions that promote youth development, community engagement, and sustainable service initiatives.

The club’s business meeting officially began at 7:30 PM and concluded at 8:45 PM, with officers, committee chairs, and members carefully reviewing key agenda items that will guide the club’s activities throughout the Rotary year. Every discussion reflected the club’s dedication to thoughtful planning, transparency, accountability, and effective implementation of meaningful service projects.

A major highlight of the meeting was the report delivered by Past President and Assistant Governor Efren Ruallo Jr. the night Chair at this time , who serves as the club’s Service Projects Chair. He reaffirmed that every service initiative will undergo careful planning and coordination to ensure that each project responds to the genuine needs of the community while upholding Rotary’s highest standards of service. He also encouraged every committee chair to work in unity, recognizing that successful community service is achieved through teamwork, commitment, and shared responsibility.

The club likewise expressed its full support for the upcoming Maternal and Child Health Care Project, spearheaded by Past President Zenaida Santiago. This flagship initiative reflects Rotary’s continued dedication to improving maternal and child health by providing programs that promote wellness, preventive healthcare, and compassionate community outreach for mothers and children.
Preparations for the club’s upcoming Induction and Turnover Ceremonies were also discussed extensively. Club President Lia Arabit assured the membership that she remains fully committed to leading the club with integrity, dedication, and a servant’s heart. She emphasized that every effort will be made to ensure the successful implementation of the club’s projects and programs while fostering stronger fellowship among members.
President Arabit also acknowledged that the success of the Rotary year will not rest on one individual alone but will be the collective achievement of every officer, Past President, committee chair, and Rotarian who willingly offers their time, talents, and resources in pursuit of Rotary’s mission.

As Rotary Year 2026–2027 unfolds, the Rotary Club of Angono moves forward with renewed enthusiasm and a unified purpose—transforming ideas into action, strengthening partnerships, and creating meaningful opportunities to improve lives.
