GROWING GREEN, GROWING HOPE!

ROTARY CLUB OF AGOO BACKYARD PAPAYA TREE PLANTING PROJECT
San Juan, Agoo, La Union

The Rotary Club of Agoo continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable living through its Backyard Papaya Tree Planting Project in San Juan, Agoo, La Union.

This initiative encourages the planting of fruit-bearing trees in backyards, promoting environmental awareness, making productive use of available spaces, and supporting the value of home gardening. By planting papaya trees, we help nurture a greener environment while encouraging families to grow their own nutritious fruits.

Beyond planting trees, this project represents our shared responsibility to care for nature and build a more sustainable future for our community. Every seedling planted is a small investment in a healthier environment and a greener tomorrow.

Kudos to our fellow Rotarians for taking action and showing that meaningful change begins with simple acts of service!

Let us continue planting today for a greener, healthier, and more sustainable tomorrow.

A RESTORED LIBRARY, A LEGACY CONTINUED!

The Rotary Club of Agoo is pleased to share that the roof and ceiling repair of the Eliseo Laron Sr. Library at San Nicolas Elementary School, San Nicolas West, Agoo, La Union, has been completed! Rotarians recently visited the library to see the results of this meaningful project.

This library holds a special place in the hearts of the school community, as it was named in honor of the late Eliseo Laron Sr., the father of our very own Club President, Dr. Eliseo O. Laron Jr., who served as the school’s principal during the 1970s.

Through this project, Pres. Eli continues his father’s legacy of service and dedication to education. By extending assistance to the library, he honors his father’s memory while helping ensure that the school’s learners have a safer, more comfortable, and more conducive space for reading and learning.

With the support of the Rotary Club of Agoo, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to education, community development, and service above self.

Sometimes, the most meaningful acts of service are those that continue a legacy of kindness. Through Pres. Eli’s efforts, his father’s dedication to education lives on—not only in memory, but also in the lives of the young learners who will benefit from this restored library.

KUDOS, PRES. ELI!

Thank you for leading by example and for continuing your father’s legacy through meaningful service. Your commitment reminds us that true leadership is not only about creating change, but also about carrying forward the good works of those who came before us.

Together, let us continue building brighter futures, one school, one child, and one meaningful project at a time.

Rotary Cares. Rotary Serves. Rotary Creates Lasting Impact!
