The 2026 Sir Theo Foundation Gala brought together our supporters, partners and friends for an evening of generosity, celebration and unforgettable performances.

Together, we raised funds to support the Foundation’s work in Papua New Guinea, continuing Sir Theo’s legacy of giving back.

What a night it was.
K1,202,500 raised!

The Sir Theo Foundation works to carry forward Sir Theo’s legacy of giving, supporting initiatives in health and education across Papua New Guinea.

On Saturday night, we had the opportunity to come together at Airways Hotel & Residences and celebrate.

Sir Theo believed deeply in giving back. Throughout his life, he supported causes close to his heart, particularly health and education, often quietly and without seeking recognition. His contribution to Port Moresby General Hospital included support for the first Cath Lab in the new Cardiac Centre, as well as the early work toward a dedicated Cancer Centre.

That spirit of giving continues through the Sir Theo Foundation.

The Sir Theo Foundation is proud to share our 2025 Annual Impact Report, highlighting another year of working alongside our partners to strengthen public health and expand access to education in Papua New Guinea.

Established by our late Founder, Sir Theo Constantinou, the Foundation continues his legacy of giving back through practical initiatives that make a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

None of this work happens alone. We extend our sincere appreciation to our program delivery partners, corporate sponsors, service providers, donors and supporters whose generosity and collaboration made our work throughout 2025 possible.

As we continue into 2026, we remain committed to building strong partnerships and delivering meaningful, sustainable impact where it matters most.

INVESTING IN SECOND CHANCES: KTF Pari & Taurama FODE Centres

Yesterday the Sir Theo Foundation was proud to present a K280,000 cheque to the Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF) in support of the Pari and Taurama FODE Centres, funding their operations for July 2026 to July 2027.

This marks the third consecutive year of our partnership with KTF. Since 2024, the Foundation has invested a total of K720,000 into these two centres, reaffirming our belief that education should not end because life got in the way. Every young person deserves the opportunity to return, complete their education, and pursue a brighter future.

The impact of this partnership continues to grow. In 2025, enrolment across the Pari and Taurama FODE Centres increased by 55%, from 108 to 167 students, while 100% of Grade 12 students either graduated or continued their studies. These are more than statistics. They represent lives transformed, families empowered and futures restored.

As Chairman George Constantinou shared during the presentation:
"The outcomes at Pari and Taurama are proven. Students who thought their education had ended are graduating. Families are seeing sons and daughters complete what once seemed out of reach. That is what K720,000 has bought us. Not a transaction, but a track record."

The Sir Theo Foundation is honoured to stand alongside the Kokoda Track Foundation in creating lasting opportunities for Papua New Guineans through education. Together, we look forward to another year of empowering second-chance learners and strengthening communities.

The Sir Theo Foundation is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Buk bilong Pikinini 's Port Moresby General (PMGH) Hospital Library Learning Centre (LLC), with a donation of K49,045.68 toward the operations of the LLC.

For many years, this partnership has supported early childhood learning in the most critical environment - the PMGH Children's Ward, where the LLC provides a sense of hope, comfort and normalcy for young patients during difficult times.

We remain committed to upholding this relationship and ensuring that children at the hospital continue to have access to learning, care and a space that nurtures both healing and growth.

The Sir Theo Foundation is proud to support the incredible work of the Kokoda Track Foundation and its Flexible Open Distance Education (FODE) program.

Last week, 180 students from Hanuabada, Pari, Taurama and surrounding villages gathered at Ruatoka Memorial Hall to celebrate completing their Grade 9–12 studies through this important educational program. We congratulate all graduates on this outstanding achievement and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.

More than 1,000 students have enrolled across the Motu Koita and Pari & Taurama FODE Centres since 2020, ensuring education remains within reach for many young people.
