And oil prices just surged 10% in a single day.

The Strait of Hormuz cannot be replaced. There is no detour. Saudi Arabia and UAE pipelines can reroute only 6.5 million barrels a day.
Over 14 million barrels are now stranded.

The poor and middle class will feel this in their grocery bills, their fuel prices, their electricity costs — and they'll have no idea why.
