SKATE JAM AT ELA BEACH (updated info!)

Calling local youth from the communities around Ela Beach. We’re taking over the basketball court this Saturday!

Want to learn to to skate? No skateboard?! Come join us! Always Free..All equipment provided..free lessons for youth aged 10 to 24…

Rundown:

• kicking off at 2pm at the Ela Beach basketball courts.

• Free Lessons: All levels welcome, gear provided.

• Art Competition: Enter the skateboard design comp and create our next skateboard.

• Weekly Sessions: We are launching our weekly skate program..Come sign up on the day to join the future lessons at Ela beach

A huge thank you Jason and all of the team at .ltd for donating us a brand new laptop last week!

Charcia, our program manager, runs all things skatepng online so when our other donated laptop recently went to sleep for good, we were in a tough spot!

Our crew kicked off February and the return of our free youth skate lessons with an awesome week of training and learning!

Big thank you to James and the team at DFK Mayberry accounting in Port Moresby for training up our boss meri Charcia in all things accounting today.

Swipe to see our new skate instructors who completed their international skate coach certification with the International Skateboard Certification Program (ISCP) online on Wednesday night.

And swipe again for a throwback to last week where the team linked up online for child protection training, aiming to keep our programs safe and fun for all the youth of PNG.

Huge thank you to and for making this training possible and for the online Goodpush library that helped us get our training and docs up and running!
