We’ve had a few people feeling unsure about which shop is which, so here’s a friendly reminder to help everyone find us easily.
We are Have A Heart Our Community Store, located at 50 King Street, Kopeopeo, right between the Self‑Service Laundromat and The Village Bakery.
Heart Space Thrift Store is a completely different shop, located at 17 Commerce Street.
At Have A Heart Community Store, every purchase supports our community.
Where does your money go? It helps cover essential costs so we can keep our doors open, and all profits go directly to our Whare Kai Affordable Pantry, located at 8B Merritt Street, Whakatāne, supporting local families with access to affordable food.
We take pride in offering good‑quality clothing. Many items are washed, steamed, and prepared before reaching the shop floor because we want you to feel good, valued, and proud when shopping with us.
We also truly appreciate your donations. You can:
- Drop them at the back by the deck, or
- Hand them to the volunteer at the till.
Right now, we are especially in need of women’s winter clothing, winter shoes, and a few accessories.
