Affiliated with the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association (RSA), the Featherston Memorial RSA provides welfare-related services and support to members including local veterans, retired military personnel, currently serving NZDF members and their families.

I'm sure everyone will want to join us in congratulating Featherston Memorial RSA member and friend, Lorraine Taylor-Tams on being appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit.

This is a tremendous and very deserved honour for 40 years continuous commitment to education.

Many, many, congratulations Lorraine - we are all extremely proud of you!!!

A great night so far at Featherston Memorial RSA / The Last Post Restaurant & Bar!!

Frank won $500.00 in one of our Members Draws - congratulations Frank!

The first draw was a roll-over, so next week there will be two draws - $100.00 and $500.00.

A big thank you to Rachel Clarke and Steve Chapman for sponsoring this month's Membership Draws.

Our two lucky Greytown Butchery meat pack winners also went home very happy.

Hi Folks, not long to go until the next fundraiser quiz at Featherston Memorial RSA / The Last Post Restaurant & Bar!

Saturday 13 June @7.00 pm, and this one is for the Fours Team from Featherston Bowling Club. They have qualified for the National Finals in Dunedin, which is a great achievement for them, our town, and South Wairarapa.

As the trip is self-funded, all money raised goes directly towards the team's travel costs and accommodation.

Let's come together and help put our little town on the map even more than it is now!!!!

$10.00 per person, teams of up to six people.

Featherston, you never cease to amaze us, whenever we put a call out to raise funds for a good cause, our community always pulls out all the stops.

Tonight's fundraiser bingo for the families who lost everything in the fire last week, raised $1,840.00!!! So each family will receive $920.00!

A very big thank you to our amazing sponsors tonight, in no particular order:

Quick update on Saturday's fundraiser bingo at Featherston Memorial RSA / The Last Post Restaurant & Bar.

It transpires two families have lost everything in the fire, so we are going to split all money raised evenly between both of them.

Please, please, book in and show your support for them.

Saturday 23 May, four games, $15.00 per person, starts at 7.30 pm.

It will be a fun night and raise much needed funds for the families.

Our amazing community never ceased to amaze us!

13 teams came together at Featherston Memorial RSA / The Last Post Restaurant & Bar last night to raise funds for Featherston's young wrestling superstar - Wairangi Sargent.

$1,206.50 were raised, which is a truly magnificent total - from the bottom of our hearts - thank you!!

It was a highly competitive and fun night, with Saveloy Sergant's Saveloy Ensemble coming third (after a tie-breaker question), Artificial Stupidity coming second, and Seymour's Army taking Pole Position.

Well done to all teams, and a very big thank you to all of the amazing sponsors!!!

Please don't forget, fundraiser bingo next Saturday, more details to follow!!
