Hey Gents,

Our next Mo Bro event is locked in.

We’re backing our brother Sheng as he takes on a huge challenge… 100km (250 laps) to honour his best friend and spark conversations around men’s physical and mental wellbeing.

This is no small task. It’s one of his biggest challenges yet.
And as a community, we’ll be there every step of the way 🖤🖤

One for the gents

There’s been a lot of work happening behind the scenes, and we’re incredibly proud and excited to announce our first MoBro event, happening tomorrow.

Men’s health is more than one month a year. It’s more than once a month. It’s something we need to look after, talk about, and connect around 12 months of the year. That’s exactly what this is about.

📍 I Love Ugly store, Victoria Street
🕔 Meet: 5:15pm
▶️ Kick-off: 5:30pm
🏃‍♂️ 30-minute run or walk (your choice)

We’ll head back to the store after, where there’ll be special discounts of up to 30% off activewear.

After injuries ended his dream of going pro in Rugby League, he fell into a dark spot. Now he is running to show others they are not alone.

Important MTAR Wellington Update for All Runners

A couple of key things for next weekend:

• If you're running 30 km, you must show evidence of completing a half marathon in the last 12 months.
• If you're running 60 km, you must show evidence of completing a full marathon in the last 12 months.
• We will be running at 6 min/km, and everyone needs to be able to hold this pace so we can finish together by midday on 22 November.

Please send us your proof via Strava or Garmin. If we don’t receive it, we won’t be able to let you run on the day. This is purely for health and safety, and we really don’t want to turn anyone away.

If you’re unsure about the pace or distance, you may need to adjust your category or start earlier.

We also still need more people signed up, jump online and help us make a real difference for men’s health.
