We have decorated a tree for the Lions annual Treemendous Christmas tree dsiplay held at the Old Masonic Hall in Warkworth unitl Dec 8th. Go and check it out!

This morning at Government House Wellington, Dame Cindy and Dr Davies received a call from Cathrine Lloyd and Jo Dixey of the Association of New Zealand Embroiderers' Guilds, which promotes and encourages participation in the art of embroidery at all levels. During the call, Their Excellencies were presented with a gift of handkerchiefs beautifully embroidered with the patterns of New Zealand native flowers.

Rearranged is a curated four-week exhibition that explores the timeless symbolism of flowers across diverse cultural groups, through a wide range of artistic mediums. From the delicate to the grand, this exhibition brings together a rich variety of artists and practices to honour the profound role that flowers have played in art, culture, and our daily lives.

This biennial awards exhibition brought to us by ANZEG (ASSOCIATION OF NEW ZEALAND EMBROIDERERS' GUILDS INC) exists to promote, preserve and inspire the art of embroidery in New Zealand.Β
