Programme Facilitator Position available
AIM (Adults In Motion) Inc. disability services has a new position available in Warkworth.
Monday to Wednesday 8.30 am to 3 pm (19.5 hours).
This meaningful position would enable you to work in partnership with young adults who have varying degrees of disabilities.
You would encourage independence, teach life skills and support them to be valued members of their community. You would help individuals to identify and achieve their own goals & aspirations, stay healthy and make positive choices about their lifestyle.
Essential skills and Attributes AIM is looking for are:
- Experience in The Health & Disabilities Sector and or Social /Community Development.
- Knowledge of EGL (Enabling Good Lives)
- Hold a relevant First Aid certification or the willingness to obtain it.
- To be physically fit
- To help with support of individuals personal needs
- A self starter and be able to use own initiative
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Be able to have fun, be patient and kind
- Have a full NZ driver's license.
- Pass a NZ Police Check
- Have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
