That's a wrap for event number 259. Mother Nature played her part by keeping the rain away.

Nice work to the 155 of you who completed the course, hope your shoes dry out in time for next week's event.

Thank you to the amazing volunteers, you are all awesome.

See you next week.

What's the weather going to do tomorrow? Been extremely heavy rain the past day or two but according to my phone the rain is to continue until 5am Saturday, clear away and then come back around 10am. That would be awesome if that is the case, Mother Nature just might come to the party for us.

As per usual, volunteers please check in with the Run Director around 7.45am

For any brand new parkrunners/walkers and first time visitors to Trentham Memorial Park parkrun we will have a first timers brief around 7.50am.

Then the Run Director's brief will happen around 7.55am followed by on your marks, set, go.

After the event we will head off to The Fig Tree Cafe for a coffee and something to eat from the friendly staff there.

See you tomorrow everyone.

***Position has now been filled***

Our volunteer roster is looking awesome for this coming Saturday but we don't have a photographer at this stage, it would be a shame not to have photos of the event.

If you would like to be the one to take the photos please leave a message here or email us [email protected]

We supply the camera. All you do is point the camera at your target and push the button. Don't even need to touch any of the settings, it really is that simple.

And you can choose your spot anywhere on the course.
