🏏 Late Post – The Flaming Slips Fixture

On Saturday 28th, under sunny skies, we wrapped up the final game of the season.

The Flaming Slips batted first and, thanks to some fantastic hitting from Ben Skilton and Ollie Newton, posted 211 off 30 overs. In reply, Clifton chased steadily, with Marcus Hill, Barnaby Howard, and Digby Philip all retiring, getting us home with a few balls to spare.

A great game of cricket played in true Kindred spirit.

Congratulations to Rebels, crowned T20 Champions for the season after an incredible final.
In a high-scoring thriller with over 400 runs posted, the match went right down to the final over, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats until the very end.
A special congratulations to our season award winners:

🎯 Bowler of the Year – Scott Mogford
Once again, we are very thankful for all the help from everyone who works behind the scenes to keep Clifton running smoothly — especially our groundsman Ken Wylie, the ground is superb.
A great way to wrap up the T20 season. Well done to both sides and everyone who came down to support.

🏏 It’s Finals Time at Clifton!

In a rematch of last year’s final, City take on Rebels this Sunday in what promises to be another epic battle between two of the competition’s top sides.

Bring the family down to the CCCC grounds and enjoy a great afternoon of cricket.
