Celebrating Dietitians Week (11–17 May)

Recognising the important role dietitians play in helping older people stay well at home.

We spoke with Kristen Clarke, who works with Enliven services and community teams. Kristen shared that noticing small changes early — like weight loss, different meal choices, or a fridge that looks emptier than usual — can make a real difference.
When these signs are picked up in time, older people are more likely to stay nourished, maintain their strength, and continue living independently at home.
